"No." Sol'Tyr said, "He won't do."
I looked at the helmet that had a light inside it, "What?" I said, "What are you talking about?"
"He won't do." Sol'Tyr said, "His body is not suitable to be my Vessel."
I blinked, "You little fucking shit." I said, "I went through all this trouble to resurrect Maegor Targaryen to be your Vessel, and you say no?!"
"I never asked you to do this." Sol'Tyr said, "I should have told you that my Vessel needs to be suitable."
I looked over at Maegor who was sitting down, only wearing pants. His upper body was covered in bandages as he had a serious scowl on his face, snorting through his nose as he looked at me with rage in his eyes.
I gestured at him while I looked at the Helmet, "You..." I said, "This is not a suitable vessel? He's big, strong, and he has a reputation. He is of Dragon's Blood and possibly the strongest of the Targaryens in recent years, what else do you want?"
"More." Sol'Tyr said, "He is not suitable. You should have brought him back with an empty mind, so I can fill the void. But since you brought him as he is now....his thoughts will be an annoyance. So...not suitable...."
"What are you speaking to?!" Maegor said, "A helmet?"
I looked at him, "Shut up." I said before walking up to the table where the helmet was, "Listen, Sol'Tyr, I go to the trouble of getting you a Vessel that you were bitching for and this is how you repay me? You tell me no? How ungrateful can you two stupid sons of bitches get?! You're getting on my nerves, you know that?!"
"A vessel with Dragon's Blood is a good idea." Sol'Tyr said, "But Maegor Targaryen is not a proper vessel for War. He is nothing more than a cruel man who throws tantrums."
"He's been through some wars." I said, "The rebellions in the Vale?"
"Not enough." He told me
I closed my eyes and rubbed my temples, "You..." I said, "You're unbelievable...."
"If I may speak, My Lord." I heard Ezra speak
I looked at him, "What is it?"
"Lord Sol'Tyr probably wishes for a Vessel that has been through enough War in which his presence has graced. That is why he had tasked Lord-Commander Jon to search for one in the Vale." He said, "But.....Maegor Targaryen....does not fit the criteria....."
My eye twitched, "It's not that he doesn't fit the criteria, it's that these Dragons of mine are incredibly fucking petty." I said, "Sol'Tyr, you were asking for a Vessel, well here it is."
"Throw it away." Sol'Tyr said, "I don't want it."
"You...." I said, "It's a waste of fucking Black Ether! You know that! I am not going to throw it away."
"Then use it as your hound." He said, "But he won't last a month with me in him, I'll guarantee it."
"Who do you want then?" I asked, beginning to get annoyed, "Enlighten me on what the fuck you want."
"First of all, I am not Thanatos. I am not responsible for your favorite woman being killed." He said, "So speak to me with a little bit of respect."
"Oh please." I said, "Do I need to remind you the Siege of Arten's Fortress?"
"That was 175 years ago, Drakken. Well…..if you don't count the 89 years inside the Scar Kings' Prison." He continued, "Let it go. We won the Battle."
"Yet you lost Andrea." I said with a scowl, "Who I was-"
"Andrea was not Athena. So I did not think you actually cared for her." He cut me off, "she was an unfortunate casualty who mare a valiant sacrifice."
"She was needed for the plan at the time." I said, "You screwed 15 years worth of meticulous planning, I didn't really care about her!"
"You cared about her body, I am sure of that." He said, "But anyone who is not The Cursed Snow Princess, means nothing to us. To you. Not even these five."
"Shut the fuck up." I said seriously, "Leave them out of it."
"Who in the fuck are you talking to?! Where is that voice coming from?!" Maegor demanded as he stood up, "It's loud!! Its….!!"
He clutched his head as he stumbled, collapsing to his knees as he growled.
"That…." Ezra said, "Is the Lord of War, Sol'Tyr. And currently, they are in an argument. Something that every servant of the Trinity knows not to interrupt."
Maegor looked up at me, "This pain…." He said, "Relieve me of it!"
"No." I said as I walked up to him, "You see, Maegor. I intended to use you as a vessel for this ungrateful piece of shit. But it appears he is picky, so I will have to find another use for you."
"Lord Sol'Tyr is right." Ezra spoke up, "We can make use of him. As a Hound of War."
"I am not a dog!!!" Maegor bellowed
I snapped my fingers and his eyes began to glow, electricity sparking throughout his body as he collapsed down and began to trash around.
"You are." I said with a serious expression, "Don't think you aren't. You best behave, Maegor. I brought you back and while I don't want to, I can definitely send you back to where you were."
He stopped squirming and panted, "Ahh…." He said, "You fucking…."
"You belong to the Trinity now." I said, "And you will crush the Faith for me. When the conflict starts, that is. With this demonstration of power, the Houses will rally. And with the ultimatum I will use on House Targaryen, they will have no choice but to kneel."
"I can…." Maegor said, "Bring them to their knees….just give me….my Dragon….and I will destroy Jaehaerys…"
"Balerion?" I asked
"The greatest power in the world…." He looked at me
I chuckled, "Oh look at this one…" i said as I looked at Ezra, "So adorable."
"It is not a joke!" Maegor got to his knee, "Balerion will not be used right by that runt!!"
"Well, he misused your Mother's dragon." I told him, "And he's not using him right either."
"What?" He narrowed his eyes
"My point is…." I crouched down, "Vhagar….Balerion…..they are nothing to me. I possess a power far beyond those stupid lizards. And you pose a tempting offer, Maegor. But I have it under control. You were meant to he a vessel, but you were rejected. So….you will be my puppet….my War Marionette…."
"That's what I like to hear!" Sol'Tyr said, "Bind him to myself and Ezra. We will use him to lay waste to the Faith!!"
"I will be nobody's slave!!" Maegor bellowed, "Give me….men….and I will destroy the Faith myself!!”
I chuckled and clutched him by the throat, “You mistake me for someone who gives a shit what you say, Maegor.” I said, “If I care not for your nephew’s words, what makes you think I will care about yours?”
“My nephew…” he managed, “Is weak! Allow me….to show you…what real Targaryen Power is….without….a dragon….”
“Hm.” I said, “One chance. You’ll know when it’s given….”
“But you’ll have one chance only.”
