[A Couple Weeks Later]
Drakken sat in a chair, on one of the towers that the castle had, looking up at the clear sky above him. He had a sleeping Astorias in his arms as he did so, the girl was always with him it was almost impossible for Drakken to be seen without her.
"Hm...." Drakken said as he looked at the sky, "The Soulway....."
He remembered the sounds of the interdimensional vortex of power when it pulled him out of the Scar Kings' Prison and shot him through the borders of this world. The feeling of his body being pulled apart and stitched together every second was something he can vividly remember. It was uncomfortable, the feeling of his very being shredded completely and restitched.
He let out a sigh as he looked at the sun, "Such a fucking pain...." He said, "It takes so long to even get a single vestige of Chaos to appear in this land.....at this rate, it would take decades to fully spread it all over...."
He felt that Astorias was shifting in her sleep, which made him look at her. He saw the sleeping face of his daughter, so round and soft.
He gently poked her cheek, "Hm..." He said, "I do wonder.....why....?"
Drakken then gently patted her cheek as the girl still slept, unfazed by her father's touch.
"Why am I so.....soft....?" He asked the sleeping girl, "You little girl....you're but a speck....compared to someone like me...why? So clingy, so needy....just like Saera....but I still humor you. I never thought of children in my centuries of living, I figured they were insignificant. So why? Why do I feel.....good.....When I look at you?"
Drakken then patted her back, gently rubbing it as he smiled slightly. For some unknown reason, he felt good when holding his daughter, something that even he was surprised by.
"I know your Mother is getting envious by the second." Drakken chuckled, "To see you in my arms constantly. That is something she wants more than anyone....well, not more than you. But you, my daughter, are a spitting image of Saera. I hope it is not detrimental in the long run."
Suddenly, Drakken heard the sound of a nasaly roar in the distance. The moment he heard this, he could only feel annoyance in his body. The very sound of the Blood Wyrm's roar would always aggravate Drakken, simply because he hates the creature.
He looked up to see that Caraxes was slowly flying over to the castle, "Tch....."
Then, as if the sound of roaring was the cause of it, Astorias shifted and woke up, a frown on her face.
She began to cry as she pulled on her father's shirt.
"Dammit...." Drakken said with a serious scowl, "That fucking Aemon....."
"He woke her up...."
*****************
Aemon dismounted his dragon as some Duskguard Soldiers stood guard on the courtyard where he landed.
"Where is Drakken?" He asked as he patted his sleeves, "I came here to speak to him."
On cue, Drakken appeared on the steps that led to the door to the Castle, "You fucking piece of filth." He said with a scowl, "Do you realize what you've done?"
Aemon saw that he was holding a crying Astorias in his arms, "I...." He said, "That was not my intention."
Drakken glared at him, "Yea, I bet!" He said, "Now, what am I supposed to do? She was asleep, and now she's awake because of your stupid dragon's roaring. It is so aggravating that even a sleeping babe hates it! Why do you have such a horrid beast, Aemon?!"
Aemon's eye twitched, "Listen..." He said, "I came here....as the new Hand of The King....to relay a message to you."
Drakken tilted his head as he gently patted his daughter's back, trying to calm her down, "Hand of The King?" He said, "What, did Barth die?"
"No." Aemon said, "He was relieved of his duty."
"Interesting." Drakken said with a slight smirk, "Easy target then."
"The King is asking for you, and only you, to have a meeting with him in King's Landing." Aemon said, "In three weeks time, that is. You have plenty of time to prepare, Drakken."
Drakken ignored him and looked at Astorias who was still crying, "Calm down, my girl." He said, "It's just your foolish uncle and his horrid creature. Should I kill Caraxes? Perhaps that will cheer you up."
Then, Astorias calmed down, her lips curled as she looked at her Father.
"Hm...." Drakken smirked, "Yes, that's it, isn't it? Killing that stupid red thing will cheer you up for sure. Well then......"
"Don't try it, Drakken." Aemon said, "I come in peace."
Drakken looked at him with a scowl, "Peace, huh?" He said, "You know.....do you lot have any idea how much I am holding myself back on you? Because all I want is for all of you to suffer!! All of you! And yet here you are, pushing your fucking luck. I should have burned you all down when I had the chance..."
"Are you going to kill a man in front of your daughter?" Aemon asked
"Oh yes." Drakken said, "Don't think that I can't do it while holding a baby, Aemon. I've done much worse things."
"My Father only wants to speak to you-" He started before stopping completely and widening his eyes in shock, staring right past Drakken, "What.....?"
Drakken raised an eyebrow, "What is it?"
He then followed Aemon's gaze, turning around to see that Jocelyn was standing in front of the door behind him.
"Oh." Drakken said, "What in the hell are you doing here?"
Jocelyn looked at Drakken, "I-I am sorry, the curiosity got the better of me." She said, "I heard a dragon's roar and I was close by....."
Drakken scowled, "Yea....curiosity, huh?"
"J-Jocelyn....." Aemon said as he began to tremble, "What....? H-How is this possible?"
Jocelyn walked down the steps and reached Drakken, "W-Who is he?" She asked softly, "This person...?"
"Oh, that?" Drakken said as he patted Astorias's back, who was digging her face in his chest, "Prince Aemon Targaryen."
"Aemon?" Jocelyn said with a look of surprise, "He is much older than I remember."
"Oh yea." Drakken said, "That's not all, though."
Aemon slowly walked over to the steps, his eyes widened as tears formed in his eyes, "This cannot be..." He said, "This....is cruel.....Drakken...."
Jocelyn bowed slightly, "Hello, My Prince." She said, "I know it is strange seeing me, but-"
Aemon ran up the steps and hugged her, tears flowing down his cheeks, "J-Jocelyn!!" He said, "I....how is this possible?"
Jocelyn pulled away from his grasp, "M-My Prince...." She said softly, "Are you well?"
Aemon frowned, tears flowing out of his eyes, "What?" He said, "J-Jocelyn....it is me...."
"Aemon Targaryen, yes." Jocelyn nodded, "The Crown Prince. I know."
"N-No....I am your husband..." Aemon said softly
"Husband?" Jocelyn said with a frown, "N-No, that cannot be....."
Aemon blinked, "What?"
"It's not true, I am sorry, my prince." Jocelyn said, "I would know if I were married to the Heir to the Iron Throne."
Aemon's first instinct was to look right at Drakken, "D-Drakken!!"
"That's not me." Drakken said with a smirk, "The woman you see before you is indeed Jocelyn Baratheon, whom I brought back to life not too long ago......"
"A servant of the Trinity."
