I walked inside Mya's chambers, rubbing my neck, "Who thought that being a Father would be this tiresome?" I said with a serious scowl, "Constantly holding those two is getting to me...."
Mya was sitting down and looking at me with a raised eyebrow, "Seriously?" She said, "After all these years and it takes two daughters for you to be affectionate? Holding them while they are babes?"
"Hm." I said, "Is that a problem?"
"No." She shook her head and chuckled, "I am just surprised. Cannot be helped, those girls are special."
"That is an understatement." I said as I walked up to her, "And you? How is my boy's training?"
"Ask him yourself." She nodded to the side
I looked over to see Riktor sitting cross-legged on the floor, his eyes closed as he was concentrating.
I blinked, "What is he doing?"
"Training his Enhanced Sight." Mya said, "Greenseers are quite a marvel. You just don't know the limits of the Sight....the Greensight...."
"Hm." I said, "You are a Greenseer.....capable of Warging."
"Yes. But with your enhancement, you could say I was ascended to a different type of individual." She said with a chuckle, "Riktor.....is like me....like I am right now...."
"The Greensight.....they're just prophetic dreams." I said as I sat down on a different chair, "And iwth my enhancement, what does that entail?"
"I rarely have them." She said, "Even now. Which is strange. I don't complain, I am fine with being able to Warg, to control my pets."
"I see." I looked at Riktor, "Do you think he will have it?"
She nodded, "I believe he could." She said, "The Perfect Warrior. To have a Draconic Bond with his beast, to wield the Blessing you gave him, and to possess the Greensight....I understand now....what you mean...."
I noticed Riktor shifting, and I looked over to him, "...don't trip."
I frowned, "What?"
"Strange. He hasn't spoken these past couple of minutes." Mya said
I stood up and walked over to the table where there was wine, tripping over the rug that Mya had placed a week prior, so I was not used to it being there.
"What?" I said as I looked at the floor, "Stupid....thing.....wait...."
I looked over at the boy, who still had his eyes closed. He was unmoving, his hands on his lap as he was cross-legged.
I then reached for the wine on the table, pouring it on a cup as I looked at him with a frown.
".....you'll think it's bitter...." He said, barely audible
I took a sip of the wine, immediately tasting the bitter wine, "Ugh...." I said, "It's that nasty one you like so much, Mya."
"I told you that any wine in my room is that one, My Lord." She said with a frown, "You should bring your own when you come in."
"Yea yea...." I said, "Hm..."
I set the cup down and grabbed the empty one, looking right at Riktor without saying anything. The boy simply sat still, not moving an inch. He was in deep concentration, focused on whatever it is he was doing.
I then flung the cup right at him, watching it fly at rapid speed and going right for his face.
"My Lord!" Mya exclaimed
The cup didn't hit Riktor, he merely held his hand up, stopping it with his Telekinesis as he opened his eyes and looked at it with a bit of surprise.
"Eh....?" He said as he blinked
I walked over to him, "So...." I said, "Future Sight, huh?"
He looked at me, "What?"
"You can see directly into it." I said with a slight smirk
"I-Isn't that....what prophetic dreams are....?" Riktor said
I shook my head, "Those are dreams, Riktor. Glimpses of the future that you see in said dreams." I said as I crouched down, "What you are doing is looking a few seconds into the direct future. Completely different."
"How is that possible?" Mya asked as she walked over, "That is what is happening?"
I looked at her, "I don't know. My guess is my enhancement....and the Blessing." I said, "But from what I can tell, he developed this power due to the Greensight evolving to this point. I mean, that is my assumption."
"I...." Riktor scratched his cheek, "I was only honing my mental prowess....for my Telekinesis...."
"Right." I said, "And because of that...you've developed such a power....now....try it again, tap into it..."
He nodded and closed his eyes, concentrating hard.
I noticed a shift in his mind, some sort of power fluctuation. It is as if his Blessing, my Black Ether, has fused with his inherited Greensight and developed this ability. And when activating, which requires concentration, it immediately sees the direct future.
It could be a couple of seconds, however, nothing too insane. Not now, at least.
I saw that he frowned with his eyes closed, "She's crying...."
"Who is?" I asked
"My Loveeee...." I heard Saera's voice followed by crying, "She won't stop....please help me...."
I turned to see her walking over to us, holding a wailing Astorias who flailed her arms around; she was throwing a tantrum.
I sighed, "Oh man....."
Mya chuckled, "The little princess definitely takes after her mother." She said, "Desperate for your arms."
Saera frowned, "What's that mean?"
I straightened up, "Fine....." I said as I offered my arms, "Give her here."
She handed her over to me, "I noticed that Vaella isn't this demanding..." She said with a tired sigh, "At the very least, she needs to be held once in a while so she could feel her Father's love....but this one? My little Astorias? She is quite clingy....."
Astorias immediately stopped crying as I held her. She rubbed her eyes and smiled the moment she looked at me, raising her arms towards me.
I think she will be a problem.
"That is what I mean." Mya said, "Like Mothers, Like Daughters."
Saera scowled, "That's....." She said, "....very true.....anyways, what is happening here?"
"Riktor has a unique ability." I said as Astorias was nuzzling up against me, "This is something I will take into testing right away. Riktor, get ready. Meet me in the Training Yard in ten minutes, we'll begin proper training."
Riktor stood up, "Alright, that is what I want." He said as he smirked, "Finally!"
Saera walked over to him. "What powerful ability have you unlocked now?" She asked, "You have the Tele....something, whatever it is called..."
"I can see the Future, apparently." Riktor said
Saera raised her eyebrow, "Impressive." She said, "What am I going to do?"
Riktor closed his eyes and concentrated, activating the ability, "Hm...." He said before immediately stepping back, "Y-You're going to try to smother me!"
Saera immediately hugged him, "Oh, my precious little boy~!" She said as she pressed his face against her chest, "You're going to be a mighty warrior, hm? Using your powers to bend everything to your will, hm? Make your Father proud~"
"Yes yes....." Riktor grumbled, "Let go of me..."
"The boy has training." I said seriously, "Let him go."
"Let's go, Riktor."
