"Unacceptable." Mya said as she tapped a wet cloth on Sylas's cheek, "This is completely unacceptable, My Lord."
Drakken was sitting down on a chair as Sylas stood in front of him while Mya tended to his bruise, a serious scowl on her face. He was leaning on his arm, an apathetic look on his face as Riktor stood next to the chair, a serious look on the boy's face.
"It is fine, Mother...." Sylas said as he frowned, "It does not hurt."
Saera was standing behind Mya, fanning herself, "That is not the point, Sylas." she said angrily, "You were struck! Both of you were!"
Across the room, The King and Queen stood next to Prince Baelon and Princess Alyssa, with Vaegon standing just behind them. Drakken didn't pay any mind to them but occasionally glanced at Alyssa and Vaegon specifically, which made Baelon a bit suspicious.
"This is not something we've expected to happen." Jaehaerys said, "Not so fast, that is."
Alysanne had a worried look on her face, "Is the boy alright?" She asked, "To think that grown men would strike children, no matter whose sons they are....."
"Tch...." Vaegon said as he stepped to the side, "As expected of them..."
Baelon looked at him, "What are you saying?"
"Not even a day passes, and these boys are already causing trouble." Vaegon said, "Seems they truly are their Father's sons...."
Saera stopped fanning herself and stomped her way across the room, which alarmed the King.
"Saera, don't-" he started
Saera slapped Vaegon across the face, which stunned him completely, "You stupid piece of filth!" She said angrily, "If you were not my brother, I'd have your tongue ripped out from your mouth and your limbs cut off!! Do not speak about them in any way, you understand me?!"
Vaegon rubbed his cheek and glared at her, "You..." He said, "Listen here, you are no longer a Princess of House Targaryen, you are-"
"Vaegon!" Jaehaerys said, "Stop it!"
Saera scowled, "I don't care, I don't need to be a Princess." She said, "I am Lord Drakken's woman, I have the authority to skin you alive-"
"Quiet." Drakken spoke up
Saera stopped and angrily walked back to their side as Mya straightened up, gently pulling Sylas aside.
The doors opened, and Maegelle walked in, "I just heard what happened. I am so sorry!" She said as she walked past her parents, "Are the boys alright?"
Behind her, a maiden was holding Vaella while she was wrapped in blankets and appeared to be sleeping. Following her, Daella and Aemon were seen walking inside, concerned looks on their faces.
Maegelle rushed over to Sylas and crouched down, "Let me see....." she said softly, "My sweet boy, are you alright?"
Sylas nodded, "Yes...."
Maegelle looked at Riktor, who had a serious scowl on his face while his arms were crossed. She saw that there were no visible marks or wounds on him, which kept her from asking the boy lord if he was alright.
Maegelle then stood back up, "W-What would be done about this?" She asked softly, "Drakken....."
Drakken leaned back and looked at the King, "Ask him."
Maegelle glanced at Jaehaerys, who was giving them a serious look, "Father...." She said softly, "What...what will you do?"
"The men who struck the boy were gathered....well, besides the one that was killed." Jaehaerys said, "I will send them to the Wall."
"The Wall?" Saera said
"Yes." Jaehaerys said, "I cannot afford to execute Lordlings and Knights of Houses that support the Crown. This is an appropriate punishment considering our current position."
"The Wall, My Lord?" Mya asked Drakken, "They struck your sons, they-"
"If it were up to me...." Drakken cut her off, "Ammaria and Grayle would have been here by now."
This caused both Baelon and Aemon's faces to harden as Alysanne slightly trembled in fear. Jaehaerys, however, stayed calm and looked at Drakken.
"But you left it to me, The King." He said seriously, "And that is the punishment I have decided on."
"But why????" Saera looked at Drakken, "Why leave to him? You are The God of-"
"Peace." Drakken said seriously, "For the time we are here, our Houses will be at peace. For Maegelle....and for Vaella....do you have a problem with that?"
Drakken gave her a serious side-eye, which caused her to look away and scowl angrily. The Princess, however, did not say anything.
Baelon cleared his throat, "All things considered...." He said, "This is an appropriate thing to do. To avoid any more bloodshed.....and destruction..."
Alyssa nodded, "Yes..."
Maegelle stepped closer to Drakken and grabbed his hand, "Thank you...." She said softly, leaning down to his ear, "I will thank you personally, later....."
Drakken patted her cheek, "Of course." He said before looking at Jaehaerys, "But there is one condition, Jaehaerys."
Jaehaerys frowned, "What is it?"
"The Long-Haired Cunt." Drakken said, "His name?"
"Braxton Beesbury." Jaehaerys said seriously, "Why do you ask?"
"I assume he is not the Lord of his House." Drakken said, "Well, no matter. You will not send that one to the Wall."
"But-" He started
"But nothing." Drakken cut him off as he stood up and took a step forward, "You will hand him over to me. This is not a request, this is a demand. Fail to meet it and I will not guarantee prolonged peace. You see....."
Drakken stood in the middle of the room and gestured to his son, Riktor, who had a fierce look in his face. This unsettled everyone on the Targaryen side of the room, even the King and his eldest sons.
"My son...." Drakken said, "Is not satisfied. He seeks blood, that is..."
"Blood?" Alysanne managed, "Is the boy not perturbed by stabbing a man in the throat."
"No." Drakken said, "You've thought it, haven't you, Alysanne? That since my boys bear my blood, they bear my vile nature. Well, I am not sure about that specific part....but since they are my blood, they will inherit my temper. And Riktor here....."
"He is not finished yet."
*********************
The doors opened and Ser Braxton was shoved inside the room by two Targaryen Guards.
"I will have my Father learn of this!!!" He shouted as the Guards shut the door behind him, "You will regret in laying your hands on me!!!"
He stood there, panting hard as his face was seriously bruised, courtesy of Sylas headbutting him hard.
He then heard a sound behind him and he immediately turned around, "Who's there?!"
He then widened his eyes in shock to see that Drakken was sitting on a chair, Sylas on his left and Riktor on his right.
His top half was shrouded in the shadows of the room but his eyes were visible as they were glowing red, the dragon slit very prominent.
"Braxton Beesbury, was it?" Drakken said, his voice unsettling, "I saw the whole thing. I heard the whole thing."
Braxton clenched his fists, "You...." He said, "You stupid brats...."
"You've insulted not only my sons, but their mothers." Drakken said, "That is not something they'll take likely. You see, respect for those women is the one thing I make sure to teach these boys of mine. They not only respect them, but they love them unconditionally. Even Saera, despite her being with them less time. My sons.....they will not tolerate any insults to their mothers, Braxton, especially their birth mothers."
"Like I give a sh-" He started before he began to choke, "G-Guhhh...."
He clutched his throat as he felt an invisible force putting pressure on it, keeping him from breathing properly. His eyes were widened as he looked at Riktor lifting his hand up and pointing it at him, a serious glare on his face.
"Do not...." Riktor said as he walked over slowly, "Ever......disrespect my Family again."
Braxton Beesbury collapsed to one knee as his face was slowly going purple, his mouth making no sounds as he had it open, trying his best to breathe.
Riktor got to his face and looked right into his eyes, "I am Lord Riktor Drakkengard...." He said seriously, "You've made the mistake of striking my brother, you've made the mistake of insulting my family. I hope you remember that name in the Seven Hells your stupid gods prepared for you."
Riktor then lowered his hand, causing Braxton to hunch over as he was able to breathe again.
"A-Ahhh..." He said with relief, "Y-You....oh.....what the..."
Riktor then stepped to the side as Sylas slowly walked over, holding a spear in his arms. The blonde boy stopped and looked at Ser Braxton with a serious look on his face.
He then looked back at his Father, who merely gave him a nod.
Sylas then looked at the Knight, "Apologize."
Braxton coughed, "What?"
"Apologize." Sylas said, "I will give you this one chance."
Braxton scowled, "You-"
He was cut off by the spear impaling him through his chest, his eyes widening again as blood poured from his mouth.
Sylas was holding the spear with a serious look on his face, "I gave you a chance." He said, "The next words out of your mouth should have been 'Sorry'."
He then pulled the spear out and Ser Braxton Beesbury fell on his stomach, dead.
Sylas and Riktor both stood over the dead body of the Knight as blood began to pool on the floor.
Riktor then looked at their father, "It's done."
Drakken nodded, "Good." He said, "You did well, Sylas."
"I am proud."
