"It's time." I told Mya and Maegelle who were sitting down in the table, "Where is Riktor?"
Mya frowned, "Time?"
I nodded, "Where is he?"
"He is in the training yard, as usual." Maegelle said as she looked up at me, "Time for what?"
I turned around and began to walk away, "His Blessing."
The door opened and Saera walked in, "My Love~" She said, "I bring magnificent news~"
She walked up to me and wrapped her arms around my waist, hugging me tightly as I stopped completely and simply looked at her with a serious look.
"What is it?" I asked
"I am with child." She looked at me while blushing and smiling, "Your divine child."
"Hm." I said, "Okay."
"You are with child, Saera?" Maegelle asked
Saera placed her head on my chest, "Yes~" she said, "I will bear him the perfect son, the most beautiful and most powerful son he will ever have. He will be superior to any man in this world, I know it. A perfect suitor to lead House Drakkengard, he will be powerful~"
"Riktor is to lead House Drakkengard." Mya said
I looked to see that she had a serious frown on her face.
"W-Well, he will be the Lord of the House." Maegelle said with a nervous house
"This House is ruled by strength." Saera said, "My Love is the pinnacle of power, after all. He who is strong will lead whenever he does not want to. My son will be that person."
Mya scowled, "No. He will no-"
"Don't let her get to you." I told Mya, "Riktor is my heir."
"But lover~~" She said, "You said you wanted a perfect son."
"I said I would humor you." I told her, "I never said that he would replace Riktor."
"Hmm~" She said with a smile, "Nevertheless, I am with child. I will bear you a powerful son, mark my words."
I placed my hand on her chin, "So be it." I said as I gently rubbed it with my thumb, "I expect many great things. Once Maegelle gives birth to her child, I will marry her. And you....? We'll see."
"No, marry me instead." She said with a look of bliss, "Please...."
"I'll think of it." I said as I pried myself off her and began to walk away,
"I am busy now."
******************
I walked up to Riktor who was standing next to a table where Jon was bent over, pointing at what looked like a map.
"You're back, Jon?" I asked as I reached them, "The Vale?"
"My Lord." Jon straightened up, "We have several outposts established and most of the Houses are under our control. The rest were crippled essentially. House Arryn's young lord was spared and he will 'lead' the Vale in name only. He is aware of who calls the shots."
I nodded, "Good." I said, "Did Sol'Tyr have his fill?"
"I suppose he did." Jon nodded
"Well, I haven't." I said with a scowl
"He mentioned something about orchestrating another provocation." He said, "Do we really need to wait for something?"
"It's something that has to do with him personally." I said, "I don't know why he's like this, but in order to truly manifest his presence here without issues, he needs a serious provocation to conceptualize. If the Faith has the Houses attack us, giving us a clear reason to counterattack, Sol'Tyr's ritual will allow him to manifest himself."
"Is that not what happened?" Jon asked me
"That was partial." I said as I looked at the table, "What is going on here?"
"Father, Ser Jon was teaching me some battle tactics." Riktor said, "I am to be a commander soon so I need to learn warfare."
"Hm." I said, "Acceptable."
"I will return to the Twins as soon as possible." Jon said, "I just wanted to report the status in the Vale directly. Not only that, I wish to leave two of my best Knights in command there. They will handle anything that arises in the Vale."
"I leave it to you." I said, "Let them know that if anything happens, I will descend upon them again."
"I should not remind them." Jon said, "They already know."
I looked at Riktor, "You." I said, "It's time."
He blinked, "Time for what?"
"You've been training quite hard." I said, "I think your body is now compatible."
"Compatible.....?" He said with a frown
"My Lord." I heard Mya say as I approached, "I think he needs to be mentally ready for this, you should not just-"
"Mhm." I said as I clutched Riktor by the top of the head, "Sure sure."
Suddenly, a swirl of Black Ether emerged from my hand and thick tendrils injected themselves into Riktor's body and head, causing him to stiffen up.
"A-Aghh!!" Riktor shouted in pain as black veins appeared all over his body, "AHHHH!!!"
"My Lord!!' Mya exclaimed
"He'll be fine." I said seriously as Riktor's body began to heat up, emitting a bit of smoke as he shook violently, "Don't interfere."
"But...!!" Mya said as she took a step
I felt my Black Ether course through Riktor's body, embedding itself in his very being, manifesting into the Blessing I intend to give him. Only because he was my son would he survive this process, being my flesh and blood. Anyone else that comes in contact with my Black Ether that is not the Repair ability from my Death, would be reduced to nothing.
Riktor collapsed to his knees as I slouched down, still holding his head, "Aghhhhhhh!!!!" He shouted in pain as his eyes whitened out, "UUURgghhhhh!!!"
"Hm...." I said, "It's taking a bit longer than expected."
His hands were convulsing and his fingers twitching violently as he began to sweat profusely.
"My Lord, he'll die!" Mya said with pure concern in her voice
"He'll be fine." I said, "It's like planting a seed, it'll sprout just about......now...."
His body exerted a powerful shockwave that caused dirt to fly everywhere. The tendrils exited his body and returned to my body. I let go of his head and Riktor fell on his belly, his eyes whitened out as his entire body was covered in sweat. I saw that the black veins had fully disappeared and noticed that his body was no longer steaming.
I straightened up, "There you." I said as I patted my hands, "Bathe him, have him rest, and keep him in that bed until his body is fully restored. Once he is fine, start his training. I gave him a little boost to his Greensight, you're welcome."
Mya rushed over to him, crouching down and immediately picking him up, "Riktor...." She said softly, "My Lord, that was uncalled for."
"Stop being a concerned mother, Mya." I said with a serious frown, "It was time. Begin his Greensight and warging training. Once that happens, he will begin honing his Telekinesis, it is the same level as mine. He just needs to get to that point. He is close to being capable of wielding his Valyrian sword....which I intend to reforge and enhance."
"I believe this means that Our Young Lord is getting ready to lead us?" Jon asked me
I nodded, "Yes."
"This..." Mya said as she began to carry him, "My Lord......thank you....."
I patted her cheek, "He is our son." I said seriously, "He is our perfect son, the superior soldier that Saera claims she will give me."
"It is Riktor."
