"You will be given one more chance." I said as I held Olyver by his throat, "Do not fail me. Otherwise, everything you've built will be reduced to nothing."
I pinned him against the wall of his study in the Tower, holding his throat tightly as I had an angry look on my face.
"M-My Lord...." He gasped, "I....am....deeply sorry...."
I let go of him and fell to his knees, "Shut up." I told him, "This is the only straw, Olyver. I require for you to prove your absolute loyalty. If you screw this up, I will not guarantee a painless death. You will be inflicted so much pain and torment that you would wish you did not exist!!!"
I had come to the Tower and to make sure that Olyver is punished for his failure. I did not think that he would not keep my women safe. To think that everything would happen under his watch, even if he is not entirely at fault.
That damned Thanatos!!!
He rubbed his throat, "W-What is it that I must do, My Lord....?" He asked as he looked up, fear in his eyes, "I would do anything....."
"Three things." I said as I raised three fingers, "I require three things of you. The First; more Greenseers, fuse them to the Foundation. I don't care if you find some that will join our cause. Find more, put them in the fucking tree. The Second; Find whoever betrayed me. Someone gave up the information of the Foundation. And I know it is not you, as I have peered into your mind. You find them, you bring them to me."
He nodded as he began to prostrate, "Y-Yes, My Lord." He said, "I will do it. W-What of the third?"
"The third thing is the most important one." I said as I crouched down and clutched his face, "I need you to do something. Something terrible. I need House Targaryen to suffer, as payback for what they did."
"You...." He said, "Want me to....."
"I don't care what you do. So long as they suffer." I told him, "Don't tell me what you will do. I don't want to know. Just when it happens, you confirm it yourself. You do these three things, I will forgive you. The only reason I have not killed you for this stupid and bullshit situation, is because you have been a loyal and important servant, Olyver."
"Do not fail me."

"It is my fault." Mya said softly as she stood in front of Daranne's bed, "I suggested they would be split up."
I looked at her, "What?"
She looked at me, a sorrowful look on her face, "I am the one at fault, My Lord." She said, "If I did not hatch that plan, perhaps she would still be al-"
"Quiet." I said as I walked over to her, "Don't speak anymore."
"But...." She started, "Sylas....he's...."
I reached her and gently grabbed her by the chin, "I said quiet." I said seriously, "Do not blame yourself."
"My Lord...." she said as a tear formed in her eye, "I.....I am sorry...."
"She's gone." I said as I ran my hand down her neck and towards her shoulder, "There's nothing we can do.....not yet at least."
She wrapped her arms around my waist, "She did not deserve that...." She said softly, "It should have been me."
"No." I said, "Do not say that."
"But it is true." She said softly, "I-"
"Enough." I said firmly, "Mya. It is not your fault. It is mine. I overlooked the error, I am the reason this all came to be. But I won't sit here and dwell on whose fault it is when I have so much rage in me. I wish to destroy things, I wish to shed blood. For my Daranne...."
She looked up at me, "Will you...?" She said, "Will you not cease the conflict?"
"Cease?" I said, "What makes you think I will do something like that??? I will not cease anything! I have gathered all of the Duskguard, they are rallied and will march towards the Vale. Until I am satisfied, that mountainous shithole will be plunged into war and chaos. Nothing will survive my wrath."
"I understand..." She said as she pulled away, "D-Do you want me here?"
"Yes." I said, "I need you to stay here and keep the others safe."
"I understand." She said as she turned around
"You are the only one I trust with their safety." I said, "After I am done with the Vale, I will return and await my child to be born. Once that happens, I will place House Targaryen under so much torment, they will beg me to kill them. Nobody can understand this rage I feel. I wish to destroy everything. Everything!!"
She looked at me, "My Lord..." She said softly, "You feel so much anger for her loss."
I lifted my hand, it was shaking slightly, "Are you kidding me?" I said as I felt my blood boil, "Of course I do....!! Of course I do!!"
"It gladdens me to know that you've cared this much for her." She said with a sad smile, "Daranne.....she would be so happy to hear this."
I turned around, "Don't say foolish things." I said as I began to walk away, "I will march my army tomorr-"
I stopped myself as I saw Riktor and Sylas standing in the doorway, looking at me with confusion in their eyes.
"Where is Mother?" Sylas asked as he looked up at me
"Everyone but Mama Daranne is here, Father." Riktor said, "Where is she?"
I clenched my fists as I felt pure rage boiling inside me. I could not bring myself to speak to them about this.
"Riktor." Mya said as she walked past me and towards them, "Sylas. Go to your chambers. Your Father is not in a good mood."
"Where is my Mama?" Sylas asked
Mya crouched down and patted his cheek, "I am sorry, Little One." She said softly, "She is not coming back."
Riktor looked at me, "Father....?" He said, "What does that mean? Did something happen?"
"Let us not dwell on it too long." Mya told them, "Daranne....she is gone.....she will not come back...but worry not, I am here for you, Sylas. I will take care of you, I promise."
"Mama....." Sylas said as tears began to form in his eyes
I gritted my teeth and looked at Sylas, "Don't cry." I said to him, "There is no use crying. You are my son, you must be strong."
"Your Mother is dead, boy."
