🕑 Added 2025-05-26 06:01:40 +0000 UTC(Drakken's POV)
[The Dark Shade]
I walked towards the pitch black trees with white leaves, the one in the far back of the Shade, a hundred meters away from the Foundation. The very one that was emanating a black mist from its roots, a loud hum emitting from its trunk.
I could feel nothing but anger and rage filling my body as I approached it, the mere thought of what had happened in this place boiled my blood.
I reached the Tree and placed my hand into it, feeling as it opened immediately and wooden roots wrapped around me and pulled me into the tree.
As this happened, I was suddenly transported into a pitch black plane that had nothing but smoke from rising from the ground.
I paced back and forth, "Where are you?!" I shouted, "You stupid black-feathered piece of shit!!!"
I then heard something rise next to me, seeing as a pair of massive black wings extended as the shadowy form of a True Dragon appeared. Pure white eyes appeared, piercing right through me. The Dragon placed his forelimbs in front of himself, looking down at me as a powerful pressure exerted from him.
This was Thanatos, my Dragon of Death.
"You...." I pointed at him, "What gives you the fucking right to do that?! Why did you call her? Answer me!!!"
"I did what was necessary for the Dark Shade." His loud and powerful voice resonated through the space we were at, "The Foundation would have been compromised. The magic that was wielded was potent, unlike something I had expected from this world."
"You called her!!!" I shouted, "What makes you think that was alright?! To sacrifice her for the sake of the Dark Shade?!"
"It was for the sake of the Trinity." He said, "The Dark Shade is a proper source of power, one that is the root of your Religion here in this world. It is unlike Infernis, Drakken. You know that."
I stood still and glared at him, "But her....she was mine!!!" I said with anger, "What gives you the fucking right to take her away from me?! She is fused to the Foundation, Dead!! I cannot raise her form the Dead because her Mind is sealed in the fucking Foundation."
"I am aware. The Black Ether infused in her Mark along with the true faith she had for you, it provided enough power along with the flames that were used...." Thanatos said without regret in his voice, "I did what was necessary. All that work you've done....so it could crumble down in a heartbeat? I would not allow it."
"You got some fucking nerve." I said with a scowl
"I am You. I am your Calamity. I am the manifestation of your power and your ideals." He said, "You are angry, but deep down you know that I was right to do this. I did what you did not, Drakken, I undid a weakness, I patched the chink in the armor that is the Trinity."
"But Daranne-" I started
He slammed his forelimbs down hard in front of me as he leaned down at me.
"You are a god!!!!" He bellowed, "You cannot afford weaknesses!!! You cannot distract yourself with mortal affairs, Drakken!! You are the God of War and Death, you cannot let these emotions hold you down!!! This world has made you weak, it has made you soft. That woman, Maegelle Targaryen, was the cause of this pathetic version of you. And Daranne Lannister? She was an unfortunate casualty in what matters the most!! The Great War! Do you truly think that it would be achieved through frolicking like this? NO!!!!"
"I DO WHAT I FUCKING WANT!!!!" I bellowed with pure rage, "IF I WANT TO INDULGE MYSELF IN MORTAL AFFAIRS, BUILD SOMETHING WITH WOMEN LIKE THEM, I WILL FUCKING DO IT!!!"
He slammed his left forelimb down hard again, shaking the entire plane.
"These are foolish emotions, Drakken!!" He shouted, "You are not in Infernis!! You don't belong here!! These women? They are nothing!! They should mean nothing to you! You are not of this wretched backwater world, you belong in Infernis! If you wish to indulge with Athena and any of your lovers there, by all means. But you cannot do any of that here if the entire goal is to return home!!!"
I took a step forward, "I am your fucking Dragon God." I said, "You will not speak to me like this."
"I am you." He said, "I am one aspect of the Trinity. I acted in response to protect the integrity of everything we've worked for. I regret nothing."
I was about to speak when I heard loud thuds behind me.
"Well....well....well..." I heard a deep voice
I turned to see another massive True Dragon forming from the black smoke of this plane, massive metallic wings extending outwards as a large horned head manifested itself.
Sol'Tyr, the Dragon of War, had just made his partial appearance. Most of his body was covered in Thanatos's black miasma and his silver metallic neck was visible, his fierce eyes shifting in colors looking right at me.
"And what do you want?!" I spat
"Drakken...." Sol'Tyr said as his wings furled slightly, "What this fool.....was uncalled for.....but right....for the cause."
"I don't want to hear it!!" I pointed at him, "I don't want to hear it from you of all people."
"You are angry." Sol'Tyr said, "I understand. But look at us three.....we are The Trinity. We need to do right by these people.....we've built so much for them, they expect the integrity of this ominous place to hold......"
"Not at the cost of what is mine." I said
"Enough of these foolish sentiments, Drakken." Thanatos said behind me, "You need to let go!"
"Fuck off." I spat at him with a glare
"Enough." Sol'Tyr said, "I yearn for battle.....You are angry. Do not dare use Grayle. Not yet. Not until my presence is felt in a battlefield. I wish to be empowered by the clashing of steel, the cutting of flesh. I need to-"
"Brother...." Another voice said as a massive blob of miasma appeared next to Sol'Tyr, "Is our Master angry? Let him use my power......to sever everything in this world."
"Who the hell called you?" Sol'Tyr said, "Begone!!"
The blob began to rise, trying to take shape, "Lord Drakken has been using my Cutting Sorcery for years in this wretched world. I wish to take form!!!" The voice bellowed, "It is my right!!!"
"Lord Drakken has used my power the most...." Another voice said as another blob of miasma began to take shape, this one a bit crimson, "Blood sacrifices.....blood sorcery...yet, I take no credit..."
"You fool!" So'Tyr said, "Your power is his power! You were born from his Blood Sorcery, taught to him by Viktor. Do not get ahead of yourself!"
I scowled, "W-What the hell is going on?"
"Your Calamity is growing....or reverting closer to its former glory." Thanatos said, "These two fools are trying to take form in my plane....here in the Shade."
"I didn't come here to fuck around!" I shouted, "You two, fuck off!!!"
"What....a shame...." One of them said before the blobs slowly dissipated
"War." Sol'Tyr said, "You wish to destroy everything with the Duskguard. Go ahead, the Horns of War will sound, and my wings will extend over the battlefield. Take my armor, my weapons, and let your fury be known, Drakken!!!"
I clenched my fists and began to walk away, "You don't have to tell me twice." I said with pure anger,
"Everything will be reduced to nothing."
