"Call a meeting with the Riverlords." I told Mya, "Now."
Mya nodded, "At once."
She turned around and walked away, her body looking quite inviting from this angle.
I was at Harrenhal, hearing word that there was movement throughout the entire region regarding the tension with religion. Apparently, The Brackens are still sour about what had happened in their territory.
A couple of nights ago, some unaffiliated zealots tried to waltz into The Tower while Olyver was busy in The North. They thought they could cause some vandalism, some desecration while the one in charge was gone? They were mistaken.
The Riverlands are my territory, all of them. It doesn't matter if the Paramount is House Tully, the entire place is mine. Nobody else's.
I leaned back and began to think hard on what I should do to the Riverlords, I wondered what kind of torment I should put them all through. They have all been quite comfortable living under my hospitality.
Saera walked inside my room, a slight smirk on her face, "My Love~" She said as she reached me, "Our Nights together are beyond what anyone could comprehend. We are made for each other..."
She sat on my lap and pulled the top of her dress down, revealing her breast to me.
"What are you doing?" I asked with a frown
"I want to cheer you up." She smiled, "Does my body not put you at ease? You love this body, my love. You know you do...."
I reached for her chin, clutching it firmly as she looked at me with surprise, "Little girl...." I said, "Do you truly think you can seduce me to do what you wish? You are sorely mistaken....."
Her expression shifted from a surprised one to a comfortable one, "Oh, lover..." She said, "That is not my intention at all. Using my body is one of the ways I can connect with you. You and I, we are meant for each other....whether it be in the bedchambers or anything else....but if you don't want my body now, it is fine....I bring you an offering..."
"What is it?" I said as I let her go
She reached inside her cleavage, pulling something out from under her covered breast; a letter, it seemed.
"Here." she said as she handed it to me
I took it, "What is it?"
"My sister. Our Eldest." She said with a chuckle, "It seems that she is considering in trying to convince our Family in trying to make peace with you."
I read the contents of the letter:
"it appears that there is a tension in the Red Keep. It is clearly the influence of two religions; The Trinity and the Faith of The Seven. I intend to convince The King and Queen to consider supporting The Trinity.
I smirked, "Is that so?" I said with a chuckle, "It appears that my deal has made your sister have a change of heart."
"What Deal?" Saera asked as she adjusted her dress and covered her breast, "What are you talking about?"
I looked at her, "She was meant to die." I told her, "Alyssa Targaryen and her son, Aegon...they were not supposed to make it past that day."
She looked at me with surprise, "Oh." She said simply, "Is that so?"
"I made a deal with her." I said, "But....that is not something you need to concern yourself with. And do go around saying it to just anyone. Baelon does not know....nobody knows."
"So...." She said before pondering the consequences of this action, "I see...you wish to cause a turmoil within my Family....now that is quite interesting...."
"Of course it is." I said, "Now....what to do with these Riverlords....?"
"Oh, it is quite simple, really." She said, "Kill those close to them. Have you not thought of that, My Love? Everyone in the Realm fears House Targaryen still due to the power of our Dragons.....but you? Everyone fears House Drakkengard because of you...and....well, the Duskguard....but....mostly you. So go around and remind those who oppose you what it means to do so."
"Kill....."
****************
"Jon." I said as I walked up to him in the courtyard, "There is something I need to speak to you about."
He was overlooking Riktor and Sylas's training, the two boys sparring with soldiers in the background.
He looked at me, "Yes?"
"The Twins." I said, "They're yours if you want them."
He blinked, "M-My Lord?"
"House Frey had a history of being vulgar with my Princess." I said as I stood next to him, looking at my boys as they were doing their thing, "So I decided to end them. And I could not trust them completely with an important outpost as that. It is pivotal to any conflict in the Riverlands...."
"Well...that is not wrong, Lord Drakken." he said, "But....me?"
I nodded, "You can pack your bags after I go and finish up over there." I told him, "Tell Dara that there will be a change of scenery."
"I do not know how well she'll take that...." He said, "She's fond of our home."
"Well, it doesn't matter to me, now does it?" I said with a shrug, "I said if you want it...."
"You honor me, My Lord." He said, "I will gladly take this position.....Am I still-"
"Yes, you are my most trusted Commander." I said with a nod, "The Twins is going to be important, I just said that. I don't trust anyone else other than you to hold it and keep it nice and tidy. You can add more reinforcements to it, whatever you want. Go crazy."
"O-Of course..." He said, "Wait, what do you mean by finishing up there?"
"Oh, Lord Frey is still alive." I said, "Weeping in a puddle of his own piss and blood...I killed one of his daughters...."
"Oh." He said, "He made the wrong choice."
"Yes. He did." I said with a slight smirk, "By the way, it was quick. His daughter's death. I just tapped her shoulder and poof, gone....her lifeforce..."
"The Touch of Death." He said, "You don't use it much."
"I like killing more brutally, you know." I said, "I want to see their faces distorted in pain.....their blood splashing all over and to hear their screams all over the air.....the whole....instant death.....not my thing."
"I understand." He said, "Thank you, My Lord. For this."
"No problem." I said, "Considering you married a Highborn woman, you deserve a place of Highborn status...well....The Twins belongs to a below average Noble House...."
"I am a bastard, this is more than enough." He said, "I heard the Riverlords are gathering for a meeting."
"Yes. I called it." I said, "After I finish up with the Freys....I want you to send men to get the Twins ready. Then send a detachment to Riverrun and lay it under siege. I also want three detachments on the north side of the Trident to fortify the border between the Riverlands and The Vale, keep those Faith fuckers away."
He nodded, "I see." He said, "It has been two years....the men are restless....they crave battle."
"Ohoho....." I said with a smirk, "Well, if it's war they want..."
"It is a war that I shall provide."
