"W-What?" Maegelle said as Drakken's tendril shot into Jaehaerys and repaired him, "What do you mean by Nothing?"
"You will find out soon enough." Drakken said as the rat jumped off him, "You will definitely see....."
Drakken's hold on the others disappeared and Aemon was able to stand back up.
"Drakken...." He managed
Drakken smirked, "Such a terrible feeling, Aemon." He said with a mocking tone, "You think you're there, you think you can finally be rid of me....but all of that hope, that determination.....it is ripped away and replaced by despair. Do you not understand? I am not something you can get rid of!!"
Alysanne looked at him, "Drakken!" She exclaimed, "Please.....stop this!!"
Drakken raised his hands, "Oh, it's over." He said, "You'll come to realize why I will not punish you. It appears your gods already did that for you!"
He smirked and snapped his fingers; all of them except the soldiers were suddenly teleported to the Red Keep, inside the Throne Room.
Maegelle's body wobbled as she simply stood there, staring at Drakken, "M-My Lord....."
Drakken smirked, "My Sweet Maegelle....." He said, "Were you concerned about me?"
"I....." Maegelle said as a tear formed in her eyes, "W-What....."
Jaehaerys stood up, "H-How....how could this be?" He said, "This is impossible....all of this.....all of this was a lie?!"
"Yes." Drakken said as he began to walk towards Maegelle, ignoring both Aemon and Jaehaerys, "I am Immortal. I cannot die. If I am capable of dying, the means to kill me does not exist in this wretched world. This place is foreign to me...no...I am Foreign to this world. My mere existence throws the balance of this world off, creating nothing but Chaos."
He reached Maegelle and gently ran the back of his hand along her cheek as she simply stood there.
"Chaos.....it is metaphorical....it is the absence of Order, complete disorder and confusion." Drakken continued, "But when it comes to me, it is also Literal. Chaos is power.....a literal power that manifests itself into a Calamity and I am that Calamity. The Dragon God.......I am a Perpetual Source of Chaos......as long as there is a sliver of power inside me, it will continue to grow endlessly.....and no matter what, it will fuel my immortality. The more and more it grows, the more unkillable I become. The more power I gain, the more Chaos I exude......the more it continues to assimilate itself to the fabric of this reality......hm.....I am getting ahead of myself....none of you will comprehend this."
He looked at Alyssane with a slight smirk.
"Chaos....." Alysanne said softly, "All of this was to create Chaos.....you wanted the Essosi to invade....to attack.....you wanted the Dornish to try and wage War......you wanted us to try and kill you......all for Chaos....."
"Ah, this is but the start!" Drakken said with a chuckle, "For now, House Targaryen is spared....although I should definitely kill someone....but that was already taken care of.....a Targaryen is dead.....just not the one you would expect."
Aemon narrowed his eyes, "What?" He said, "What the hells did you do?!"
"I did what I said would be your punishment, Aemon." Drakken said, "Nothing."
The doors to the throne room opened, "Your Graces!!!" a kingsguard shouted, "My Prince!! This is grave news!!!"
"What is it?" Jaehaerys said
"T-The ship that Lady Jocelyn and Prince Aemon's children were on....!!" He said as he panted, "It was attacked by Braavosi ships!! It caught flames and crashed into the rocks right on the coast!!"
"W-What?!" Aemon said, his eyes widening, "N-No!!"
"I-I am sorry, My Prince....." the Kingsguard said, "L-Lady Jocelyn and Prince Aenys...."
"They did not make it...."
**************
"No......." Maegelle said as she stood next to Drakken, "I-It cannot be......"
In front of them, Aemon was on his knees, hunched over two wrapped bodies that were laid on the floor of the Throne Room, weeping uncontrollably. Alysanne and Jaehaerys were on their knees with him, trying to console him.
While Aemon and Jaehaerys were set on killing Drakken, the ship that carried Jocelyn and their children was attacked by Braavosi, catching flames and crashing into the rocks of the coast. While some guards were able to save Rhaenys and Rhaella, Aemon's daughters, Jocelyn and Aenys were unable to escape. They were caught in the flames, their bodies burned up, and they eventually drowned.
After Alyssa Targaryen burned the ships, she had their bodies retrieved from the water, a terrifying sight that she could barely handle.
To say that Aemon was destroyed would be an understatement; his wife and son were dead. The King and Queen were also distraught, this was not something they had wanted. Especially after the sudden realization that they attempt to kill Drakken was in vain.
Drakken could not help but have a smirk on his face as he was able to feel the despair exuding from Aemon. The Heir had so much on his head, nothing but despair and agony.
"No....." Aemon wept, "Why.....why does this have to happen.....?"
Alysanne, who was crying, looked at Drakken, "You did this...." She said softly, "Bring them back!"
Drakken crossed his arms and tilted his head, "No." He said, "I did not do this. And I will do no such thing."
"L-Lord Drakken....." Maegelle said softly, tears running down her cheek, "You...."
"They are dead." Drakken said, "They will stay dead. This is your punishment, House Targaryen. Live with the fact that you did this to yourselves. You tried to kill me and while all of that was a ploy, a trick, it does not change the fact that you intended to do so. Aemon......feel it....the despair....the unbearable pain.....remember that pain. Whenever you decide to conspire against me, I want you to remember that pain. Don't ever fuck with me."
Jaehaerys straightened up, "Y-You....." He said, "Bring them back. Take me instead...."
"Father....." Maegelle said
Jaehaerys looked at Drakken, "Kill me instead." He said, "You wanted to do so. Bring them back, bring Aemon's family back. I am more than willing to take their place. I-"
"It does not work like that." Drakken said with a smirk, "I have plans for you, Jaehaerys. I want you to sit on that stupid throne and think about your actions and their consequences. You lost your sister, your grandson....all because of your impulses. This is your fault. Live with it."
Drakken turned around and walked away, leaving Maegelle standing there, staring at the dead bodies.
"You coward!!" Jaehaerys said, "You dare kill innocents to prove your point?!"
"Oooh, how hurtful." Drakken said as he walked towards the door, "That is exactly what a man like you would do, you fucking imbecile. Kings are all alike, after all. But remember, this is just the start."
"I have a War to fight and enjoy."
