"Maegelle!!!" Alysanne exclaimed as she ran inside the Sept, "What are you doing?!"
Jaehaerys turned to look at her, "Stand back!" He said, "We got him!!"
Alysanne froze still, "What?"
She then looked past him and Aemon and saw that Drakken was engulfed in a bright blue light, The Sword impaling him as he howled in pain, the entire Sept beginning to shake.
"Nooo!!!" Maegelle cried as she collapsed to her knees, "Y-You've killed everyone...no..."
Aemon was looking at Drakken who was still engulfed in the light, "It is over...." He said softly, "Finally..."
"AGHHH!!!!" Drakken bellowed, "Y-YOUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!"
"Just die already...." Jaehaerys muttered, "T-This...the gods demand it!!"
"UUUUURGHHHHHH!!!" Drakken said as his body stiffened, "AGHHHHHHHHH....AHHHH...H-H-H-AAAAA....H-HEH....."
Aemon frowned, "W-What?"
"H-H-HEHEHEHEHEHEHHEHE..." A nerve wracking sound was heard from Drakken, "AHAHAHAHAHAA.....HAHAHAHA!!!!"
"L-Laughing?" Jaehaerys said as he watched this with widened eyes, "What? B-But....."
Suddenly, the light disappeared and Drakken was seen laughing with his hand over his eyes, his entire body shaking as he did so.
"H-Hahahahahaha!!!!" He laughed as he buckled over, The Sword still impaled through him, "O-OH.....YOU FUCKING IDIOTS!!!!!"
He moved his hand out of the way, revealing a bit of tears in his eyes as he smirked. These were tears of laughter; Drakken was genuinely laughing at them.
"What?" Aemon said
Maegelle was also taken aback, watching this with pure shock as everyone else did the same.
Drakken slapped his thigh as he laughed, "O-Oh, you should see the looks on your faces right now!!" He said, "Y-You fucking idiots!!! I cannot believe you fell for it!! You seriously fell for it!!"
He then straightened up and pulled The Sword out of his chest, his entire body reverting back to normal; his wounds closing and his blood evaporating.
"What?" Aemon said as his face went pale, "What.....?"
Drakken tossed the blade into the air, and he clenched his fist. The Sword shatters and causes a brief explosion of light as the pieces fall to the ground, leaving everyone there speechless.
"N-No...." Jaehaerys said, "B-But....how?"
"You fucking idiot, it was obviously too good to be true..." Drakken said with a smirk, "It was all fake."
"But the Sword...." Jaehaerys said, "The Fallen Star...the ore....the vision.....everything...."
"Pfft..!!" Drakken said, "You seriously bought into that shit?! Oh man, this is exactly what I did to the White-Spider's Elves!! I cannot believe it worked on you fucking imbeciles.....W-Wow.....you are all so stupid...I...I have no words....."
"But the power..." Aemon said, "It worked on you...your body...it reacted to it...!"
"Theatrics." Drakken said, "You seriously don't think I can be harmed by a glowing sword, do you?"
Drakken snapped his fingers and another Sword appeared from thin air, one identical to The Sword. It floated in the air as Drakken smirked.
"It was all just something to kill my boredom...." Drakken said smugly, "A fabricated story to give you imbeciles a bit of false hope....I really did not think it would come over so soon....so I had to improvise.....even so.....all of you fell for it....I will commend you, your quick thinking was good.....well executed...No, I take it back...it was reckless..."
"T-This cannot be...." Aemon said as his knees wobbled, "It was all a lie....all that.....for this? For nothing.....?"
Drakken clenched his fist and The Sword shattered, "It is not too hard for me to craft something like this, have it fly down from the sky in a ball of light and crash hard onto the ground like a Fallen Star." He said, "All I had to do.....is make it seem like I really wanted it....for a good reason....and well superstitions and story spread out from there...."
"Wait..." Maegelle said as she stepped back, "S-So....y-you are well?"
Drakken nodded as he rubbed his hair, "Oh man...." He said, "I do not think I have laughed this hard in a long time....I cannot believe it. This was so fun. The looks on your faces were so determined. I was so sure that you had the upper hand.I love it....I absolutely love it!!"
"Y-You lie!!!" Jaehaerys lunged forward with Blackfyre, "D-Drakken!!!!!"
"Jaehaerys!" Alysanne exclaimed, "N-No!"
The soldiers caught the queen and kept her from running past.
"No, Your Grace!" one of them said
Jaehaerys reached Drakken and swung his sword at him, only for it to be parried by an invisible force, causing him to stagger.
"Tchh...!!" Jaehaerys said, an enraged look on his eyes, "Drakken!!!"
Drakken smirked, "I am Death." He said, "I am War. I am Undying. I am Chaos."
Aemon saw a dark aura wrap around Drakken, "Father!" He said as he took a step forward, "No!"
"Grayle, I'll borrow your wings." Drakken said as a vicious glint appeared in his eye
Suddenly, two grey wing-like limbs appeared on his back, extending outwards. They looked like webless wings, with the sharp claw-thumb and one single thick "finger" with a sharp claw at the end. They did not have the other "fingers" that most dragon wings have or if they did, they were not currently displayed.
"W-What?!" Jaehaerys said as he was frozen still
"Hm." Drakken said with a vicious smirk
In a swift motion, Drakken's wing impaled Jaehaerys, lifting him up in the air as the King dropped his sword.
"Father!!!" Aemon exclaimed, "No!"
Drakken snapped his fingers and Aemon was slammed into the ground by his Telekinesis, as was everyone else but Maegelle, who was standing still, completely shocked by this unexpected turn of events.
"L-Lord Drakken...." Maegelle managed, shaken up
Drakken looked at Jaehaerys, "Let me think...." He said as Jaehaerys struggled to breath, "Should I finally kill you? Right here, right now? A proper punishment for attempting to kill me is in order!!!"
"Drakken...!!" Aemon said as he struggled to move, "N-No....!!"
"Ah, but this is what I wanted!!!" Drakken bellowed, a smirk on his face as his sharp teeth were visible, "A War!!! I was so fucking bored already!!! I cannot believe you imbeciles actually went through with this!! I wanted to use the Essosi as an excuse to let loose but you went ahead and did this!! Oh boy!! Such a wonderful excuse!! I can finally break the Promise!! WAR!!!"
"Y-You....." Jaehaerys managed weakly, "You monster..."
"Yes...." Drakken said, "You tried to kill me, I think this is justified. I will destroy the Essosi in war....and if Houses Martell and Dayne want to do something; I guess I can destroy them as well. And obviously, killing the King will trigger an outrage from his bannermen.....oh boy, Conquest it is.....but....."
Drakken lowered the wing down and placed his hand on his chin, as if in deep thought.
"I don't want to wipe your House out....." He continued as he pulled Jaehaerys closer, "But I have to kill someone...I mean, I don't want to become King, that is very boring....and well, bothersome.....I am above Kings after all....hm....perhaps I will let Aemon sit the Throne...."
"Do not kill him!!" Alysanne pleaded, "Please!!!"
Drakken smirked, "I can kill the King...." He said, "Which will free his wife up, eh? I can finally have Alysanne.....maybe she will satisfy me....."
Jaehaerys glared at him, "Y-You....." He managed, "I-"
"You are breathing because I allow it." Drakken cut him off, "An injury like this can easily kill anyone.....painful, isn't it?"
Jaehaerys clutched the wing, "T-This....."
Suddenly, a Rat scurried up to Drakken and climbed up to his shoulder, leaning into his ear and whispering something.
"Hm?" Drakken said
"O-Olyver?" Maegelle said, "He's.....he has his network here?"
As the Rat was whispering, everyone watched as Drakken was visibly surprised.
"Oh." He said, "Is that so?"
The Rat pulled away, "Yes."
"That is quite unexpected." Drakken said, "I did not think they had it in them."
Drakken flicked the wing forward, sending Jaehaerys flying to the ground as blood poured out of his wound.
"Aghh..." He groaned in pain
"Father!" Maegelle ran up to him, "L-Lord Drakken, what-"
"Hehe..... " Drakken said with a vicious smirk as he looked over to , "Oh, I know what the punishment is......"
"I will do absolutely nothing."
