[Mereen, Essos]
"Hugh has returned." Varos said as she walked up to Maegor, who was sitting down and working on his sword, "He brought a Dragon with him."
They were in a building in the city, one that belonged to a Slave Master that the Dragonseeds have bought out with promises of glory. Maegor was sitting in a chair, cleaning his valyrian steel greatsword in front of a door when Varos had approached him.
Maegor stopped cleaning his sword and looked up,"What did you say?" He said with a serious expression, "Hugh claimed a beast?"
"Do you not hear the roars?" Varos asked, "He was the only one that survived."
"Hm.....I figured it was in my head. Gael's obsession with dragons has gotten to me." Maegor said
"Where is she?" Varos asked, "Gael?"
Maegor nodded towards the door, "In there." He said, "She's admiring the egg. As usual."
"And the boy?" Varos asked
"I do not know." Maegor said, "Nor do I care."
"Hm." Varos said as he walked towards the door and opened it, walking through
As he walked through, he saw that Gael was sitting on a couch, her feet atop a crouched man who was thin and frail, his entire body trembling as Gael had a smile on her face.
She held a Dragon Egg in her hand, running her hand along the side of it. There was a glint of admiration in Gael's eyes, one that Varos immediately noticed.
"Have you heard?" Varos asked her, "Hugh has returned."
"I heard the call of the Bronze Fury." Gael said, "Our objective is closer by the day....we will soon have our own dragons...just as we are meant to...."
Varos looked around, "Where is Baelon?" He asked, "Gael, you know the boy is a valuable asset, necessary for leverage....you need to care for him more."
"I am his mother, of course I would care for him." Gael said as she frowned, "Do not presume the wrong kinds of things."
"Well, forgive me if I have no faith in your motherly skills." Varos said, "You rarely showed care for him when he was born."
"Wrong!" Gael said, "I declared him a future king! He is my pride and joy!"
Varos gestured his arms outwards, "Well....? Where is he?"
"Over here." a voice said
The voice immediately caused Varos to freeze as he widened his eyes in shock and a bit of fear. He slowly turned around to see that across the room, on a bed, a woman sat while holding Small Baelon in her lap.
The woman had white hair, purple eyes, and her aged yet fair skin was glowing due to the light of the candles in the room. The woman had an arrogant smirk on her face as she gazed upon Varos, who was looking at her without saying much.
Despite having a much mature look than Gael, she was extremely beautiful, almost as beautiful as Gael, who had the blessing of youth.
One good look at this woman and one would mistake her for Queen Alysanne Targaryen, the Good-Queen and wife of King Jaehaerys.
"S-Saera....." Varos said with a gulp
She tilted her head, "Hello, Varos." She said, "It appears that you have screwed everything up. With you in charge of my children's care, everything has gotten fucked, hm? Daron, Lynn, Erys, and Eryn are dead."
Varos shook his head, "Saera, you must understand..." He said, "I tried telling them not to follow that Celtigar cunt! That damned Trevor! Because of that, they fell to Baelon Targaryen!!"
"Still, you should have gotten my Gael to convince them not to go." Saera said as she ran her hand across Small Baelon's hair, "You disappoint me, Varos. Why would I ever trust you again?"
"Saera....." Varos said
As this happened, Maegor walked inside the room slowly, holding his greatsword in his hand as he had a serious look on his face.
"Mother." Maegor said, "Gael was in charge. She was the one who made the calls. She was a fool in letting those weaklings go."
Gael scowled, "What did you say?!"
Saera raised an eyebrow, "Pardon me, boy?"
Maegor narrowed his eyes, a fierce expression on his face, "They were driven by the desire to bed Gael, their lust was their undoing....that and their pointless mentalities and grudges." He said, "Because they wanted to fuck her, they thought that going to fight Baelon Targaryen would achieve that."
"Ho?" Saera said, "Is that so, my son?"
Maegor lifted his hand up and clenched it into a fist, "They were weak." He said, "They were no true dragons. If Gael had set me loose upon Westeros, Baelon Targaryen would have been dead! Daemon Targaryen would have been cleaved in half! Aemond One-Eye would have lost his fucking head. But no, she did not do so."
"And you did not go on your own volition?" Saera asked with a smirk
"I obey because of you, Mother." Maegor said, "I am but a loyal son, after all."
"A mama's boy, through and through, my love." Saera said, "But enough, what is done is done. My poor boys, they died...such a shame, though...I would love to have seen them again....."
"Where are the others, Mother?" Gael asked Saera
"Conquering the Dothraki." Saera said, "The Twins are as vicious as the youngest of their brothers, Maegor. But only this one cares that much about fighting. Are you itching for a good fight, my Maegor? My Kind Maegor? My brutal and vicious Sword?"
Maegor's eye twitched, "You know it...."
Varos looked at her, "Saera...." He said, "What now?"
"I have returned from YiTi." Saera said with a chuckle, "Oh, the High-Lords and Nobles there do know how to fuck a woman good....."
"I-Is that so?" Varos said
"You should be thankful, Varos." Saera said with a serious expression, "With my eldest bringing about a Dragon to our ranks, those whom I wish to recruit will follow us more willingly."
"Hmph." Maegor said, "The Smith is nothing but a weakling as well."
"He claimed a Dragon, my sweetling." Saera said, "That must mean a lot to us. And it does. How ironic....it has been too long since I have heard the sound of Vermithor.....ah, I must have Hugh give me a ride....the last time I was atop the Bronze Fury.....it was before my Father shunned me...."
"Speaking of Dragons..." Gael said, "The Targaryens will send theirs now that we have attacked them in Dragonstone."
"Oh, I know." Saera said, "But we cannot do much about that. Such a failure....and a waste of resources, enlisting those Faceless Men....Baelon Targaryen is truly blessed by the gods....but oh well, we have a good bargaining chip with us...."
Saera leaned down and kissed Small Baelon's head, the boy was simply fixated on a toy she had brought him from her travels.
"Is he actually Baelon's?" Varos asked
"What, you think it is not?" Gael asked with a raised eyebrow
"I have no interest in bedding her." Maegor said, "He is not mine. Nor is he Erys's....unless...she did the same to us...."
Gael scowled, "Me? Rape you?" She said, offended, "Fuck off."
"Enough." Saera said, "Oh, I would know if this one would be Erys's or Maegor's.....he does not look like them in the slightest....he is definitely Baelon Targaryen's.....in fact.....I can see a bit of my elder brother in this one.....Baelon The Brave...."
"Your Nephew is the King." Varos said, "What do you think his reaction will be when he finds out?"
"Viserys? I care not." Saera said, "I am a bit concerned about my other Nephew. Daemon is a dangerous man, that one is only reigned in by Viserys and Baelon."
"I will handle him myself if it comes to that." Maegor scoffed
"He rides a dragon, sweet child." Saera said, "But worry not. It will not get to that point. I want to have a personal discussion with both Viserys and Baelon. For peace."
"Peace?" Varos asked, "That will not be possible! You tried to have Baelon killed! That alone is enough for Viserys to send all his dragons to us!"
"But worry not." Saera said, "With the mere thought of potentially killing his grandson, he will hesitate. Viserys is Baelon's father after all. They share the same gentle heart, those two...I have a proposition for House Targaryen....."
"If they do not accept, then it is War, I suppose."
