[A Few Months Later]
After the sudden revelation that Prince Baelon Targaryen had a bastard daughter due to the incident of his rape, The King had no choice but to announce it to the Realm. After learning of the incident, there was an uproar from the Lords of The Realm, wanting justice for the crime.
To them, if Baelon Targaryen could be placed in a vulnerable position, and possibly gotten killed, it was an insult to not just the Crown, but to Westeros in its entirety. Baelon did not wish to show his face that much at Court, which was understandable by Viserys, who did not force him. He did in fact show up to King's Landing from time to time to check the progress of the investigation.
Not much was known about their enemies, even with the information that was given to them by Min, the mother of Baelon's daughter. Baelon, on three separate occasions, flew to Myr in search of Gael and her brothers, trying to root them out and make them pay for what had happened.
On all three occasions, Baelon found nothing and returned to Dragonstone, Balerion was anxious to burn something.
Baelon's brothers was beyond enraged by the news of the incident; wanting blood. Aemond and Aegon both flew to Essos, patrolling the coasts in search of any signs of the Dragonseeds, but they also found nothing. They did this without the leave of the King and without Baelon knowing and when the Crown Prince found out, he could not help but be frustrated at their actions.
Daeron, despite also being angry with what happened, was the most reasonable and convinced Aegon and Aemond to not do anything stupid again. The youngest of the princes had told his elder brothers that when the time came, all four of them would descend upon their enemies and rain fire on their heads. This declaration surprised Baelon the most and they merely agreed to it without saying much of a word.
House Targaryen had already grown accustomed to Baelon's marriage with both Helaena and Rhaenyra and they were more than willing to not think much about his daughter. Even though appearances were kept when it came to Rhaenyra, all of them knew that they were both on good terms, if not great.
Due to Baelon's daughter being brought to him, the Prince denied any plans of holding Tourneys for his son, Valerion, saying that he did not want the wrong type of attention. It was to be expected, Baelon had no luck when it came to large gatherings.
The Princess Helaena held no grudge against Baelon for having a daughter, accepting the girl with no issues. This made people talk but eventually, their words died down and they dismissed it as Helaena being too kind.
Not even Rhaenyra made an issue about this, quickly attaching herself to the girl and caring for both her and Min, who was also the victim.
The only one who was skeptical about the entire thing was Baelon himself, who rarely looked at the girl, despite both his wives showing affection to her. Whenever he spent time with his son, showing him love and either of his women brought the girl, he would awkwardly remove himself from the room, trying his best not to startle the girl or make her feel bad about something.
For the past few months, things were easy as far as easy could go. Baelon had restless nights, wanting nothing but going to Essos and exact justice on those who wronged him.
But he could not do anything.
No matter how many times he would go over there, nothing could be done. He could not find them, he could not burn anyone, and nobody knew anything.
He knew that they were elusive, more dangerous than his previous enemy would ever hope to be. To him, they were worse than Trevor, who was in plain sight and tried his best to be the monster he was.
They were far different, they were smarter, and more vile.
He didn't know what to do. He was not sure what they were doing, what they were plotting, and how they were doing anything.
It bothered him greatly.
It angered him.
But at the moment, there was not much he could do.

(Baelon's POV)
"I..." I heard Min say as she poured wine in my cup, "I am so sorry....."
I was reading a book, sitting in my chair as she did this, "What for?"
"I told you where they were...." She said softly as she stepped back, "And you went to look for them...finding nothing."
"And....?" I said without looking at her
"You think I lied to you." She said
"I know you did not lie." I told her, "It is quite clear that they knew you left them and came here. The smart thing to do is to leave the place where you knew they were located. It was a good try, though....trying to go and find them."
"But you tried.... "She said, "Because of me.....your efforts were empty."
"Do not worry." I told her, "It is fine."
"I only wish I was more useful." She said softly
"Do not concern yourself with any of that." I set the book down, "You are safe here, you need not worry about anything else. Just worry about yourself and your daughter."
I stood up and looked at her, seeing that her skin was much more fairer than the first time I saw her. She seemed to be less starved, her face was much fuller. The poor woman, she was probably treated like scum back in that place. Here, she has eaten and slept much better than even she had hoped to do so.
She looked down, "I...." She said, "The girl spends more time with the Princess than I...."
"Is that a problem for you?" I raised an eyebrow, "I could arrange for her to be with you more."
"N-No..." She said, "It is fine....I understand.....I....I am grateful that she was accepted.....by the Princesses.."
I nodded, "I see."
"Thank you for everything, Prince Baelon." She said softly, "I owe you my life."
"Hm." I said, "You owe me nothing."
I then reached down and picked the cup of wine up, taking it with me as I walked away from her.
"I-Is there anything else I should do?" She asked me as I walked towards the door, "My Prince?"
I stopped and glanced at her, "I do not know." I said, "Ask Elinda."
*************
"Ah, look at you..." Helaena said as she held Valerion in her arms, "So big...so healthy...."
I had walked into her chambers, seeing that she was with our son. She looked so beautiful, my wife. Her skin was so beautiful, glowing due to the light of the candle. Well, that and the fact that every night, she has me in her bed.
My eyes then set on Valerion, who noticed I was there and looked at me with a smile, extending his arm towards me.
I smiled, "My boy." I said as I walked over, "You are rather lively today."
I patted his head as Helaena looked at me with a warm smile. Valerion tapped my hand as I patted his head, letting out joyful noises while I did so.
"Have you eaten, love?" Helaena asked me
"Yes. You?" I replied
"Yes." She said
"That is good." I said, "Rhaenyra?"
"With Daella." She said
"Hm." I said as I gently squeezed Valerion's cheek, "I see...."
"You should see her." Helaena said
"I see Rhaenyra whenever it is her turn to have me in her bed." I told her, "And well, before I come to yours."
"Not Rhaenyra." She said, "Daella."
"I...." I said, "Do not concern yourself with that."
"I will." She said seriously, "You know I will."
I sighed and leaned into her, kissing her cheek, "My Love." I said, "I do not wish to start another argument."
"Hm." She said, "You can be quite cold sometimes."
"Ah, you are both here." I heard Rhaenyra's voice say
I straightened up to see her walking in with a smile on her face. I did not see the girl with her so I assume that she was left with Min or with the other maids.
Rhaenyra reached me and pulled me in to kiss my cheek. She then patted Valerion's head, leaned into him, and kissed him on the forehead as he simply giggled.
"What is it?" I asked
"You did not hear the news?" Rhaenyra straightened up, "Aegon is to have another child."
"Oh." I said, "That is good. Congratulations to him, I suppose."
"Father wants us to go and pay our respects." She said
I frowned, "I...I do not know."
"We cannot be shut in here forever, I think it is a good idea." Helaena said
I sighed, "I will consider it."
"You will." Rhaenyra said, "But.....hm......we will speak later, then."
I stepped back and rubbed the back of my head, "The girl?"
"With Min." Rhaenyra said as she crossed her arms, "What is it to you? You are never interested in her."
"Rhaenyra....." I said
"I keep telling him that he should not be so cold." Helaena said, "But it is to be expected. We need to be respectful and understanding of this situation."
"I know." Rhaenyra said as she stepped towards me, "Look at me, Baelon."
I looked at her as she grabbed my shirt and pulled me down, kissing me on the lips as she patted my cheek.
I instinctively kissed her back as I placed my hand on her waist gently, being a bit taken aback by this.
She pulled back as she gave me a smile, "One day." She said softly, "You will see the girl as she is....."
"Ho?" Helaena said with a chuckle, "I am so jealous, you kissing our man like that."
I frowned, "Hm...." I said licking my lips, "Perhaps one day...."
"Maybe....."
