"Worms?" the Lordling said, "W-Who do you think you're-"
"Shut up!" The other one said, a panicked tone in his voice, "He'll kill you!"
Saera smirked, "That's right~" She said, "Right here, right now.....he will butcher you fools!"
Drakken eyed them up and down, "I am not keen in squashing insects beneath my feet, Saera." He said, "Let's go."
Drakken stepped back and walked away, prompting Saera to follow him.
"My Love, do not just leave like that!" She said as she hugged his arm, "Oh, to be seen amidst these highborn imbeciles with you....it is amazing, let them take in the sight of us, together.
"Mhm." Drakken said as he walked over to the table where Aemon and Daella were sitting at
Aemon saw him and stood up, "Drakken...."
Drakken stopped as he looked at him, "Aemon." He said as he looked at the food in front of him, "I see you've become quite comfortable with your wife."
His face hardened, "Listen-"
"Forget him, Love." Saera told Drakken, "How about we flaunt our authority on other Lords, hm? You must be bored, constantly teasing my brothers."
Drakken reached for a piece of meat, picking it up with his hand and making direct eye-contact with Daella, who was looking at him with a bit of surprise.
"Hm." He said with a slight smirk, "Yellow dress, hm? Does that symbolize House Baratheon?"
Daella gulped, "Uhm...."
"That is not your business." Aemon said with a scowl, "Please, do me a favor and let us be."
Drakken took the piece of meat and tossed it into his mouth, "Hm." He turned around, "I'll do you a favor, alright."
Saera looked at him, "What do you mean?"
"Quiet." He said, "The show is about to start."
Aemon and Daella looked at each other, a bit confused, and they then looked over to the hall where some lordlings approached Viserra, an attempt to swoon the Princess. They were giving him smiles as they talked to her while she stood there.
It was quite clear by the princess's expression that she was not interested, which prompted Saera to take a step forth.
"No." Drakken held her by the arm
"But...." Saera said with a frown, "She is not comfortable...."
"She will be fine." Drakken said, "You stay here."
Saera nodded and stepped back, wrapping her arm around Drakken's waist as they all watched the whole ordeal unfold.
They saw as Viserra was nodding, saying something inaudible to them, and then turning around and walking away.
One of the Lordlings then called her and accidentally bumped into another Lord who was also trying to speak to Viserra. As this happened, the one bumped got angry and pushed the other away.
Drakken smirked slightly, "It begins..."
Suddenly, the two lordlings began to shove each other twice, and they then began to throw fists. Viserra stopped and saw this and was immediately pulled away by Ser Ryam, who rushed to the scene.
As the two lordlings fought, one of them drew a dagger and thrust it in the other's throat, killing him on the spot. Blood poured down from the wound and onto the floor and there was a loud scream that filled the hall.
Jaehaerys and Alysanne were sitting down when this happened and the King stood up, "WHAT IS THIS MADNESS?!" He bellowed, "Guards!!"
He was taken aback by the sudden escalation of conflict; the Feast had not even met the half point of its intended duration.
Aemon looked at Drakken, who was standing there, a smirk on his face, "What did you do?!"
"Nothing." Drakken chuckled, "Why would you assume it's me."
"Because you are here." Aemon scowled
"Watch how you speak to my man, Aemon." Saera said with a warning tone
"Saera, please..." Aemon said, "I do not have the energy to argue with you."
The guards pulled one of the Lordlings away and crouched over the dead one, seeing that there was plenty of blood pooled around him.
Drakken chuckled, "Heh." He said, "Interesting...."
He then pried himself off Saera's grasp and took a step forward, loud and firm it was. Everyone immediately took notice of this and looked at Drakken, who made his way towards the middle of the hall.
Viserra, who was being taken away from Ser Ryam, pried herself from the Kingsguard's hand and made her way back to the floor, seeing what Drakken was about to do. She had a feeling something was about to happen. All the stories she was told by her sisters made her become aware that he was something more than just a man.
Drakken snapped his fingers, and the guards holding the Lordling were jerked back by his telekinesis, causing them to stumble and the Lordling was pinned to his knees as well.
"W-What?!" The Lordling said
Drakken smirked, "Stay there."
Drakken then waved his hand, and the guards crouched over the dead one were flung away, skidding across the floor as Drakken stood over the fresh corpse.
He got on one knee and clutched the corpse's throat, "Heh."
Suddenly, the dead Lordling's eyes shot open, "Ah!" He gasped for air as Drakken let go of his throat, "W-What?!"
Drakken straightened up and turned around, walking back to where Saera was.
Everyone was baffled at this, they did not know what they have witnessed.
But it was quite clear, however, that Drakken had brought the Lordling back to life as it was not a big deal.
The Lordling got up to his knees, clutching his throat and seeing that his wound was closed and the blood was already dried.
Jaehaerys, who was standing and watching this, narrowed his eyes, "That......" He said as he clenched his fists, "Don't think I do not know what this is.....Drakken...."
Drakken stood next to Saera as she hugged his arm. "That should be enough." He said, "Let us wait for the real show to start, however...."
"Ah, I would have preferred it if you butchered some imbeciles...." Saera said with a smile, "But this is good enough, show them the power you have."
Drakken noticed someone was looking at him with a bewildered look on their face.
"Hm?" He said as he looked over to the side
It was Viserra Targaryen, she was staring right at Drakken as she stood there. She could not believe her eyes. She had heard the stories about Drakken and the power he held. But he thought they were exaggerated. She truly believed that nobody would be capable of having that much power.
But now, she saw him resurrect someone from the dead. This was a feat that she knew only a god was capable of.
She heard of the man who claimed to be the God of War and Death, and now this casual display of power that Drakken showed everyone made her realize that those claims were true.
She gulped, "A god...." She said, "He is one...."
Aemon looked at Drakken, "Was this planned?"
Drakken smirked at him, "If I planned something, heads would be rolling by now." He said, "You should know that. I am not in the mood to kill right now, so do yourself a favor and keep your fucking mouth shut."
Was this a plan set up by Drakken? Did he arrange for the two Lordlings to fight and have one of them kill the other?
Whether or not this was true, the Targaryens would not be able to prove anything.
It was all too convenient and rather quick.
If it were Drakken's plan, it would be more subtle.
Something was wrong.
And the Targaryens knew it.
