"If Vampires are classified as Undead...." Riktor said as he sat on a log, wiping blood off his face, "Is having sex with one considered Necrophilia?"
Drakken looted one of their attackers when he stopped and looked up at him. "What?"
He shrugged, "I'm just wondering." He said, "If yes, then a lot of women I've been with should sit back and think hard about what they're doing with their lives."
"You know..." Drakken said as he continued searching the bodies, "Sometimes you say the most ridiculous things. Do you recognize these thralls?"
"No." Riktor said as he stood up, "But they are controlled by a Vampire."
They had just finished a quick fight, being attacked by dozens of Thralls. While they were not much of a threat to them, they were taken aback by the numbers and the rate of the attack. Riktor grew tired of getting blood on his face, so he used a powerful Blood Sorcery to deactivate all of them.
Vampire Thralls are undead creatures that are controlled by Vampires using a form of Vampiric Necromancy. The more powerful the Vampire, the more Thralls they could control.
Drakken straightened up and patted his coat, "I guess they were all clean." He said, "Well, let's keep going."
"Isn't this a bit coincidental?" Riktor asked, "I mean, we're going to Decalogue to retrieve the Bloodstone of Vladius and we're attacked by Vampire Thralls? This whole thing stinks."
"Hm." Drakken said, "What does it matter to me? Let's just go, destroy the City, and get the stone so we could go back home already."
"Nah, I don't trust any of this." Riktor said as he walked up to Drakken, "This looks very very suspicious."
Drakken looked around, "I don't smell anything unusual, they're just Thralls. Probably meant to ambush travelers and take to their master to feed." He said, "Isn't that what you do?"
"I don't use Thralls, not anymore." Riktor said, "But..."
He slowly turned around, sensing something near them. There was an unusual pocket of cold air that had floated past Riktor and while Drakken does not usually pay attention to things like these, Riktor immediately recognized it.
"Hm...." He said as he narrowed his eyes
"What is it?" Drakken said
"Show yourself." Riktor said allowed, "I know you're there."
Drakken crossed his eyes, "What are you talking about?"
"You should hone your senses, Drakken." He said, "You really cannot tell when someone is stalking you."
"I can." Drakken frowned, "But what are-"
"My, My....." a feminine voice said, "I should have known that my Thralls would not do anything to the Dragon Cursed One."
Drakken narrowed his eyes, "Hm...."
Suddenly, a few meters away from them, the air began to distort, and a figure appeared. It looked like a tall and slender woman, wearing a silver dress with a black fur overcoat. She had white hair with black streaks, had bright orange eyes, and her visible hands were skinny and bony, with sharp claws at the end of her fingers.
Her mouth was covered by a black mask, which bore a familiar symbol to Riktor.
"You...." Riktor said, "You're one of Malvenia's Coven. What are you doing here? You attacked us? My Brother is not going to be happy about this."
"Viktor?" The woman said as she stood there, the air distorted around her, "He who was exiled from Theodore's Great Coven? Hm.....so you're the one he violated the Tenets for? Riktor, The Daywalker...."
Riktor scowled, "Watch it."
"To think he used the Ritual of Syn to turn a child into a daywalker instead of himself." The Vampire said
Drakken took a step forward, "And you?" He said, "You're not a Day-Walker....how are you not burning?"
"It's obvious." Riktor said to him, "She's not here."
"A Projection?" Drakken said, "What a stupid thing to do."
"Quite smart, actually." The woman said, "Do you truly think I would risk fighting a Dragon Cursed One and a Daywalker?"
"Sending your Thralls was what, a test of strength?" Drakken asked, "Show yourself, I'll display my actual strength to you. I'll slowly rip out your limbs and set your insides ablaze, you stupid bloodsucking fiend. Your kind disgusts me, I wish to dismantle all of you."
"Hey. Bloodsucking Fiend here." Riktor said with a frown, "You're hurting my feelings."
"Shut up." Drakken said
"I came to send a warning." The Woman said, "Malvenia has discovered something that Viktor might be interested. Aside from the Bloodstone."
"Spill it." Riktor said, "We don't have all day."
"Traversed southwest of Decalogue have been spotted. They are fresh." the woman said
"Oh, that's nice." Riktor looked at Drakken, "We can go and hunt them, fresh untainted Traversed blood is always nice."
"After we go get the Bloodstone." Drakken said boringly
"Is that it?" Riktor asked, "We'll be on our way now."
"No." The woman said, "The Bloodstone, if you don't hurry up, you'll lose it."
"How so?" Riktor asked
"Helldoors are about to open." the woman said as she tilted her head,
"Demons are about to be unleashed."

Infernis is a world of magic that contains a few continents, the main one is called Terra, a supercontinent that houses five Kingdoms and a single dominant Empire. Terra has a very diverse geography, with winter regions, desert regions, and dense forest regions. Many rivers, lakes, and other bodies of water reside in Terra, which in turn calls for a very diverse ecosystem, whether it be natural or magical.
Terra is considered to be the origin of Infernis's humanity, and the Ether in the continent is incredibly dense. Ether is the source of all magic, imbued in the fabric of Infernis's reality, fueling everything Infernis.
During this time, Long before the rise of the Imperium, Sorcerery was rampant, extremely potent. While Infernals were prominent, their power growing exponentially and many powerful individuals rising up to the top, the Traversed were being crossed over at a rapid rate.
The Soulway is an interdimensional vortex of pure power that borders the realities of everything, even Infernis. Traversed are individuals from other words, being sucked in by the Soulway and thrown into Infernis. They are imbued with one of three powers: Sorcery, Graces, or Calamities.
What prompts the power to bring those unfortunate enough to this new world? Nobody knows the answer. The thing is, many of those native to Infernis believe the Soulway to be random, a force of Nature that cannot be stopped. While directly, the Soulway does not bring any physical or magical danger to both worlds, it can be the cause of several disasters.
It was responsible for throwing Drakken to the world where he currently is, after his imprisonment with the Scar Kings.
But before all of that, long before his conflict with the Demon Lords, Drakken was a native to Infernis, who obtained the Dragon Calamity and rose to the ranks of power.
A Dragon Cursed One that drifts alongside two Vampires with who he became sworn brothers.
