"I want to learn how to wield my sword, Mama Maegelle...!" Riktor said as he punched the air, "Tell Father to teach me at once!"
Maegelle bent over and tucked her hair behind her ear, a warm smile on her face, "Is that so, My Lord?" She said as she wiped some crumbs of bread off his cheek, "You wish to become a warrior?"
Riktor nodded, "Yes." He said, "I want to be a Knight, riding on my dragon!"
Maegelle straightened up, "Then let us go and tell him." She said, grabbing his arm, "Come."
"Very well." Riktor said, "Say, Mama Maegelle.....have you ever seen Father wield a sword?"
Maegelle looked at him as they walked, "Why do you ask?"
"He says he can teach me....but does he know how to fight with a sword? He doesn't carry one." Riktor said with a confused look
"Well..." Maegelle said, "I do not think its because he does not know....but because he does not care much about swords."
"Swords are weapons of killing." Riktor said, "He should care."
"Your Father does not need swords for that." Maegelle said, "But you should not think that way, not at your age."
"Why not?" Riktor asked
Maegelle stopped and looked at him, "My Lord, you are a child." She said, "Children should not concern themselves with warfare and killing. Not until you are old enough to comprehend what it truly means to do that. I understand your enthusiasm, you are meant to lead this House in the future, but until then, you should be what you are; a Child."
"Boring." Riktor said, "Can we get more cakes?"
"More?" Maegelle chuckled, "As you wish."
They continued walking and made their way inside the castle, traversing the hallways and reaching the dining room where Daranne and Mya were.
Maegelle opened the doors and walked inside, seeing that Drakken was sitting down with his feet on the table, holding a strange-looking cube in his hands as Daranne and Mya sat next to him, eating food.
"My Lord." Maegelle said as she approached, "Your son has a request."
Drakken was fidgeting with the cube, "What is it?"
"Father, I need to learn how to wield my sword." Riktor said, "I am old and big enough."
"You are not." Drakken said without looking at him, "You're too young and small. Have you seen the size of that thing? It's a Valyrian Steel Greatsword, Riktor. It is meant for someone tall and capable, something you are not.....not yet at least."
"I can prove you wrong." Riktor frowned
Mya stood up, wiping her mouth with a napkin, "Oh, my sweet love." She said as she walked up to him and crouched down, adjusting his shirt, "Do you want your Mother to teach you how to use a bow? I would be more than glad to do so."
"No, I want to wield my Greatsword." Riktor said
Maegelle looked at Drakken, "Perhaps making a wooden greatsword is ideal? To have him adjust to the weight." She said with a smile, "He is rather enthusiastic about this. He wishes to be a Knight, a strong one that will lead House Drakkengard in the years to come."
Drakken stopped his fidgeting and looked at her, "Knight?"
"Ah, my sweet love." Mya kissed Riktor's cheek, "You wish to become a powerful Knight?"
"Yes." Riktor said
Drakken looked at his son, seeing his determined eyes.
"Hm." He said, "A Knight, huh? Interesting...."
He tossed the cube on the table and got his feet off the table, standing up from his seat, and patted his coat.
He then walked over to Riktor and stood before him, towering over his own son, who looked up to him.
"My Lord...." Mya said
Drakken tilted his head, "So...." He said, "You want to be a Knight? Swinging a sword and whatnot."
"Yes." Riktor said
"Very well." Drakken said, "Come. Let us begin your training."
"My Lord....!" Mya said, "Already? He needs to eat."
"He's fattening himself up with them cakes." Drakken said as he walked past them, "Come, Riktor. I will make you a wooden greatsword and we'll begin the training. It will not be easy but you can handle it, right?"
"Yes, Father!" Riktor said before turning around and following him
Mya sighed and looked at Maegelle, "Well, seems you have helped my son in more ways than you can hope." She said with a smile, "Shame, here I wanted to teach him how to hunt...."
"I am sorry, My Lady." Maegelle said, "I...well, he seems so determined."
"It's fine." She said as she stood back up, "At the very least, Lord Drakken will involve himself in the boy's life. It is quite something."
Maegelle nodded, "I understand." She said, "That is something I wanted."
"So..." Mya said, "We have much to discuss, Maegelle."
"L-Like what?" Maegelle asked as Mya walked back over to the table
"Our Lord wants a child from you." Mya said, "He's made it very clear. And well, in a few years.....Saera Targaryen will join our company."
"Oh....right..." Maegelle said
"I suggest you beat that one to it." Daranne said with a chuckle, "She is very obsessed with him. If she gives Drakken a child, she will have him wrapped around her finger. It's quite obvious, your sister will get what she wants."
"I know." Maegelle said, "I just....Lord Drakken and I have not spoken about what happened."
"How was it?" Mya smirked slightly, "Your first time?"
Maegelle's face went red, "I....Oh....uhm...." She said softly, "It was...."
"Great, was it not?" Daranne said as she blushed, "Our Lord is quite something when it comes to pleasure.....he must have plenty of experience...."
"He does." Mya said, "He is not shy to tell us of his past sexual adventures. For example, after he ravaged me atop my desk, he told me of the time that a group of two female Vampires from his world baited him into having sex with them. Baiting is used loosely, he knew what the plan was. They wanted to kill him..."
"V-Vampires...?" Maegelle asked, "T-Those blood-sucking creatures he mentioned once?"
Mya nodded, "Yes." She said, "Well...apparently, they had the ability to make their bite infectious and lethal to those of our Lord's...well, his kind....and after he had sex with them, which he admits was quite enjoyable, they bit him all over his neck, chest, and well....."
"Down there." Daranne chuckled
"O-Oh...." Maegelle said
"He escaped because he stole a valuable artifact, and the effects of the bites were disorienting him too much for him to fight." Mya said, "It was quite an interesting story."
"He told me this one story of how he slept with the goddess of storm that he named Ammaria after...." Daranne said, "After we conceived Sylas, that is. He mentioned how they were both in the skies, above the clouds, and they did it. I do not understand how that could have worked."
"I don't know how that one would work either." Mya nodded, "Or the time he claims he bedded an island....that one still confuses me."
"Oh..." Maegelle said
"Our point is...." Daranne giggled, "Is that he must have treated you good. Did he?"
Maegelle nodded, "Yes." She said softly,
"He did."
