"Why are you making a move on my sister?" Maegelle asked me, "You are shameless....."
I leaned back on my chair, "I simply forgot about Daella...I should have asked for her." I said, "But oh well...."
"Saera fits you well...." She told me, "She is perfect for you. She is as harsh and foul as you are."
I looked at her, "Ouch." I said, "Are you that mad, my sweet Maegelle?"
She looked away, "I was supposed to have a decent time." She said, "But here I am, worried about whatever you could do….."
I sighed, "Well…." I told her, "If it makes you feel any better, I have not killed anyone as of yet."
"That…." She said, "Well that is true…."
I stood up and walked over to her, "Enjoy your time here." I said as I patted her shoulder, "I will lurk in the shadows harmlessly. I give you my word…."
She looked at me, "I don't trust that."
"You don't have to." I said, "Just enjoy your time here. With your family. And keep Saera away from me, she could be annoying. When she becomes mine, I will handle her."
"Hm….." she said as she frowned, "So be it."
I ran my finger through her hair, "I do apologize." I said, "You are aware of my nature. So it is difficult to not torment your Family. It brings me great joy in doing so."
"I am aware of what you do when you're not filled with joy." She said with a bit of wit
I chuckled, "Precisely."
"What did you discuss with my brother?" She asked me, "They say he was rather perturbed. I was surprised you did not do something harsh to him. It was Lord Corlys who you insulted."
"Hm." I said as I smelled her hair, "We spoke of the future."
Her hair had a faint scent of flowers; Mya's garden. It reminded me of home, of Athena's hair. I was reminded of her scent, her figure, her eyes, everything.
I did miss her.
"The future?" She asked, "May I ask what that will entail?"
"For your Father, nothing but stress." I smirked, "But for your siblings, hopefully a bit of assurance. And well, nothing but ruin and chaos for this world."
"Of course." She said as she looked at me, "Could you stop smelling my hair."
"I like it." I told her as I pulled away, "So white….so pure…"
"I know it reminds you of her." She said, "Of that woman. Lady Mya told me you once dreamt of her."
"Hm…." I said as I turned around, "You know, your Brother was the first of you Targaryens that I have encountered. Which makes our relationship somewhat special. I could have killed him, but I chose not to."
"Do not change the topic so suddenly." She said
I glanced at her, "I had high hopes for him." I told her, "I believed he would be the Hero that every story and every song had. He who would go against all odds and try to defeat the Monster. The Evil who torments everything."
"And….you no longer believe?" She asked me
I chuckled, "He disappointed me when he came and begged for me to save his boy's life." I said, "I thought he was better than that. But he does love his son, so I can commend that. Maybe there is a chance for him to redeem himself. Maybe he can be the Hero that will give me a worthy challenge. If not…..well…."
"What?" She asked me
"My son will soon conqueror everything." I said, "Perhaps the Hero I am looking for has not been born yet. Perhaps it is my son who will be challenged by said Hero."
"You are adamant about Lord Riktor's role in this world." She said, "The boy has not learned how to properly stand. What makes you so sure he will be your Conqueror?"
I looked at her, "Because his Mother promised me he will." I said seriously,
"And Riktor will do that."
******************
"What are you doing here?" I heard Baelon's voice as I stood in front of a statue, "Explain yourself."
I looked up at the sculpture; it was that of Aegon I Targaryen. The Conqueror, the one who brought the Seven Kingdoms to heel. And it was all because of his dragons.
"No matter what I do, I will have to listen to your irritating voice." I scowled, "Am I not allowed to stand here in silence, looking at a carved piece of stone?"
I looked at him, he was giving me a scowl of his own.
"Not you." He said
"Well, it matters not. I will do it regardless if I am allowed or not." I told him, "So, tell me….you and your sister, eh?"
"What?" He said, "You mean my wife?"
"Always trying to hide the incest part, eh?" I said with a smirk, "Yes, your wife."
"What about us? She and I are married." He said, "What does it have to do with you?"
I gestured at the statue, "He had two." I told him, "Is that not something what you would like? Two wives?"
He narrowed his eyes, "No." he said, "Alyssa is enough."
"Of course." I said, "Fortune had it so you were already married to her, otherwise in order to save the Realm, I would have had her instead."
"Mind your tongue." He said
I appeared right in front of him, using my telekinesis to hold him place.
"I don't really care for incest." He said, "But I would do something similar to the Conqueror. And that would be having two Targaryens as my women who bear my children. Maegelle will make her choice and Saera? I will have her drained every night until she begs for me to take her instead."
He glared at me, "You…."
"And as for you and your children…." I told him, "I will ensure that you have many of them and perhaps they will play a role in the wars to come. Your line is important to me, Baelon. I wish to torment your son and his children….would that not be amazing?”
“You are a monster.” He said
“You would not be the first one to call me that.” I said with a smirk,
“And you won’t be the last.”
