🕑 Added 2025-03-30 14:09:17 +0000 UTC(Baelon's POV)
"What the hell are you talking about?" I said with a scowl as I stood up, "I have never done that. You dare question my honor and dignity as a man and a husband, Mother?!"
"Baelon." Father said, "Stay calm."
I ignored him and looked at Mother, "Why would you ever think of that?" I said, "I would never do that to my wife. Nevermind Rhaenyra, whose relationship with me is complicated. I would never insult my Helaena in that manner!"
"Is that so?" Mother said, "That is not what I hear!"
"And what have you heard?" I said, "My son has just been born, your Grandson! And you dare accuse me of being unfaithful to my wife?! I canot believe what I am hearing!!"
She stood up and glared at me, "Before you returned here, You ventured into the city." She started, "And you did not return until dead after the middle of the night! Your clothes reeked of wine and you had been spotted with other women!! You got yourself drunk and decided to partake in pleasures similar to your Uncle!! Your Uncle who you were looking for!"
"What?!" I exclaimed, "T-That did not happen! Who told you this?!"
"Enough, Alicent." Father stood up, "Sit down, Wife. Baelon, the rumors that I mentioned not too long ago; that is what she is referring to."
"I told you, they are a lie!" I said, "Slander! I will not tolerate it!"
"Then tell us. Tell me what happened!" Mother said, "After everything that you claimed, all the emotional speeches you kept spewing about how you love my daughter. Explain what exactly happened!"
"I-I…." I started as my head felt fuzzy, "I was looking for Daemon, who ventured into the city….that is all I remember….w-wait….no, I do not…"
"Oh, how convenient." Mother said, "You do not remember?"
"I was in my quarters. I was then approached by a servant, telling me that Uncle was waiting for me." I said as I narrowed my eyes, looking down, "I….I think I left to go and search for him…."
"You think?" Mother said, "You think ?"
"Alicent." Father said firmly, "Let him continue."
"Next thing I remember I was sitting in my bed. My clothes reeking of wine, like you said." I said, "That is all, I do not remember going into the city…..I….I do not recall…."
"You got yourself so drunk you do not remember if you walked into a building by the docks and fucked several women?" Mother said
"W-What?" I said, "The docks?"
"Come to the docks in an hour. I wish to speak with you."
Suddenly, the memory of reading those words in a letter flashed in my head. I was looking for Daemon in the city, that is true….but I was not drunk when I read that letter. I was approached by a man and he gave it to me before disappearing.
"The docks…." I said, "A building….."
"That is what I said." Mother said, "I cannot believe you would stand there and pretend-"
"Woman, enough!" Father exclaimed, "When have you known Baelon to lie to your face about something this important? Something is clearly wrong."
"I…." I started as I felt my head go numb, "There was a bulding, a building….I stood in front of it? I….a scream…."
I remember a woman's scream.
As soon as I remembered it, I heard it in my mind, as clear as if it was just the day before that I had heard it.
The moment I heard it, the face of a woman flashed in my mind; a white-haired woman with purple eyes.
"Wait…." I started as I felt sweat rolling down my face, "N-No…."
"Baelon?" Father said, "Your face is pale."
I remember.
The dream.
It was not a dream.
It was a memory.
The women who were crying in my dream. They were crying because they were on top of me while I was bound by chains. They were naked, on top of me, while I was inside them against both of our wills.
"Gods…." I said as I stumbled back, nearly falling down
"Baelon!" Mother said as she ran around the table, "What is the matter?!"
Suddenly, her angry tone was gone and all I could hear was concern in her voice.
"I….." I started, "The dream…It was not a dream…"
I then remembered one thing; the white-haired woman on top of me, whispering to my ear.
I heard her words clearly:
"I always get what I want, no matter how."
I got chills all over my body, my legs wobbling as I stumbled forward and caught myself on the table.
"Baelon!" Mother exclaimed, "Viserys, fetch the Maester! Now!"
"Right…" I heard Father say as he rushed out of the room
"Baelon, tell me what is wrong!" Mother said as she held my arm, "Son, speak to me…!"
"I made a mistake…" I said as sweat dripped from my face and onto the table, "I made a mistake….by stepping into that building…."
"What?" She asked, "What do you mean?"
Somehow, I was lured into a trap.
Everyone makes mistakes. Nobody is perfect, even my Father constantly makes them.
But I made the most foolish one of them all.
I fell into a clear trap that I will regret for eternity.
They drugged me, they took advantage of me. They could have killed me but they did not, sending me a clear message.
They can do whatever they want at any time…..
Rage began to fill my body as I trembled, my vision getting blurry as my head got number.
"B-Baelon…" Mother said, "You are scaring me…."
"T-That…." i said before grabbing the jug of wine, "That fucking woman!!!!"
In a swift motion, I swung the jug against the wall. It hit it hard, splashing wine everywhere as it clattered onto the floor.
"Baelon!" Mother said, "What is wrong?"
"I was made a fool of myself!!" I clenched my fists and looked at her, "I was humiliated!! I was raped!! I was defiled!!"
"What?" Mother said softly, her face going a bit pale, "What did you say?"
"Our enemies snuck into our home and lured me to a trap that I carelessly and stupidly fell into…." I said, seething with rage, “I cannot believe that I had gone this long to remember!!”
“R-Raped?” She said, “Baelon….”
She tried grabbing my hand but I pulled away.
“I….” i said, “I need to think…..I….wait…”
The wine.
The wine was making me restless. This entire time I was going without sleep and when I did sleep, I had those dreams!
The wine! They had drugged the wine!
“Shit….” I said, “Their claws had sunk deeper than Trevor’s…”
“Whose?!” She asked
“Bastards….Dragonseeds…” I said as I looked down,
“They did this….”
