"Have you ever been struck by lightning?" I asked the worms in front of me, "Anyone?"
I sat on a broken piece of pillar the following day after seizing Sunspear. The sky above me was dark and crackling with lightning. I could hear the loud rumbling of both thunder and Ammaria. The devastation my divine creature had set upon Dorne was more than satisfying. I could not begin to explain how much joy it brought me.
In front of me, Oren Martell and his advisors were forced on their knees by my Duskguard. They had shocked looks on their faces as they looked up, their eyes darting around. I knew that they were seeing the figure of Ammaria as it was illuminated every time lightning flashed in the clouds above.
I snapped my fingers, "Hello?" I said, "Anyone home?"
Oren Martell looked at me, "W-What do you want?!" He exclaimed, "You laid ruin to my home! You brought destruction to my Land!! My people!! My vassals! Everyt-"
"Shhh...." I said with a smirk, "I didn't ask you what I did here in Dorne, little shit. I asked if any of you have been struck by lightning...."
"Clearly, they have not, My Lord." I heard Mya say
I turn to see her setting Riktor atop a broken piece of stone, the boy was looking all around with awe in his eyes. Mya had her quiver of arrows strapped to her side, her bow was leaning against the stone as she patted Riktor's shirt from behind. She had merely made the comment and went back to whatever it was she was doing.
"That seems to be the case." I said as I looked back at Oren, "Well, I will tell you....it is not a fun thing to experience, for a weak little worm like yourself...I have been struck many times by lightning. Oh, you do not even know.....the natural kind, the one that comes with a completely normal storm....at first, it hurt....but after getting used to it, it didn't even sting...."
"W-What..." Oren said
"When a regular worm such as yourself is struck by lightning...well, it may or may not be fatal..." I said as I looked at the sky, "The high-voltage might immediately stop your heart..but if it does not, the high voltage will fry your nervous system, the possibility of burning your skin depending on the power of the bolt..."
"W-What are you saying....?" Oren continued, "What are you going to do?"
"But that is regular lightning..." I said as I got off the broken pillar, "Magically enhanced lightning...well, it's different....it is much more powerful....wielded by an individual that wants to kill you....that lightning will immediately obliterate you...your body will burst as the force of the strike will be too much for someone like you can handle. I have been hit by enhanced lighting bolts way too much.....and some can even damage me.....but enough of that.....which of you wants to be first?"
"First?" One of Oren's advisors said, "Y-You will not spare us? Princess Elia promised that you will-"
"I guess you volunteer..." I said as I flicked my hand upwards
He was suddenly flung up high in the air and I snapped my fingers. Not even a split-second later, a massive bolt of lightning fired from the clouds and hit the man directly, a powerful explosion of blood and guts was seen right after.
As the bits of bone and flesh fell to the ground, Oren Martell gave me a horrified look on his face.
"W-Why would you...?"
I walked over to him, "Because you never took the hint, Oren." I said with a serious tone, "How many spies have I killed that you sent? How many letters have I ignored from you? The warning I gave you two years was merely out of mercy, mercy I did not want to show. You had Maegelle to thank for that. I gave you two years to live....who the fuck dares declare a war they do not commit to...? And blame it on me? Huh?! Who?!"
I reached for his throat, squeezing it as he clutched my hand with a shocked expression.
"G-Guhh...!!!" He managed
"Your sister is willing to give herself to me in exchange for the safety of her people." He said, "A valiant proposition."
"What?" I heard Mya ask
I glanced at her, "Worry not."
She frowned, "Hm."
I then looked back at Oren, "So...." I said, "Do you wish to be hit by lightning again?"
"P-p-please....!!" Oren managed
"The alliance between our Houses is over. The business deal you had with the Lannisters is also over...the moment you held some shipping lanes down was the moment you drew the last straw." I told him, "I will seize control of your lanes, your ships, and your merchants. I will leave a representative of the Duskguard in charge. My House will have influence in this shithole...anyone tries to make a move and I will send my Storm Goddess back to finish the job..."
I let go of him and he collapsed to the ground, "Aghh..."
"Please, Lord!" his advisors begged, "Mercy! We have many women we can offer you."
I pointed at them, "Shoot them."
Suddenly, arrows pierced their eyes. In a split second, Mya had shot them with her arrows. She had gotten faster with her draw. I watched as their dead bodies fell to the ground all while Oren tried to recover himself.
He got to his knees, "Y-You fiend...." He managed
"Oh please." I said, "This is nothing."
I pointed my finger on him and a purple mark appeared on his cheek.
"What is this?" He asked as he touched the mark with his hand
"For around an hour, you are immortal." I told him with a smirk, "But....you will feel pain ten times worse than they normally are.....Mya."
An arrow flew right at his chest, jerking his body back as his eyes widened.
"Aghhh!!" He shouted in pain, "Wha?! AGhhhh!!!!"
I chuckled, "Hurts, doesn't it?" I said, "Well, good luck. I wonder how long you'll last until your mind shuts down."
I flicked my hand upwards, using my telekinesis to fling him up to the sky.
"Ammaria, Tempest Torment"
He flew high into the air, eventually reaching the clouds where Ammaria was. Then, there was bright flashes of light, the rumbling of thunder following right after as a loud scream of pain was distorted.
"Hehe..." I said, "For an hour, he will be constantly shredded apart by Ammaria's lightning. "
"What a fitting punishment for him." I turned to see Mya patting Riktor's head, who was looking up with a confused look
"Why throw him up?" Riktor said
"Because I want to." I said as I walked up to them
"What is this you say about Elia Martell? I have her in her quarters by the way..." Mya said with a frown
I shrugged, "She wishes to make a deal."
"Hm..." Mya said
"Is there a problem?" I asked her
"You should not father a child that is not Maegelle's....not yet." She said, "It is my opinion."
"Good thing your opinions do not matter." I said
"You wound me, My Lord." Mya said as I walked past her, "But the more children you have before your actual Lady, the more trouble will arise."
I stopped and looked at her, "What?"
"These children..." She said as she looked at me, "They are not like you, they do not hail from a land of gods, full of magic and divine power....they are from here....a place that thrives on political starvation....status and positions....what would happen when children you father from all over the land find out that a child much younger than them inherits Riktor's place? He is the eldest, but Sylas and any other children that are not Maegelle's will want to be by your side..."
"And what do you allude to?" I asked, "That my children will be infighting?"
She nodded, "Yes." She said, "And if Children of Drakken war against each other....the consequences could be dire.....I know Riktor and Sylas are mere children...but...."
"Hm." I said as I turned around, "I will keep that in mind, my Mya....."
"You bring up good points."
