🕑 Added 2025-03-23 22:25:23 +0000 UTC(Drakken's POV)
"Aemon best have something worthy of my attention." I said to Alysanne as she crossed her arms, "Otherwise, I will look the other way when his son begins to die."
"Enough." She said, "I have had it with your threats."
I raised my eyebrows, "Is that so?" I asked, "Daranne…..Off."
Daranne got off me and stepped to the side, placing her hands behind her as I slowly stood up.
"You have spent too long tormenting my family." Alysanne said, "I have had enough of it."
I then appeared right in front of her, "Well, I haven't." I said to her as I leaned down, "Have you forgotten what I told you? My promise? I am going to fuck all of your daughters, perhaps including your eldest. Something might happen to your precious Baelon, who knows? Do not tempt me with breaking the Peace I bave benevolently given. Know your place, woman. To me, you are nothing but a little shitstain who rides a silver lizard with wings."
She stepped back, "I do not care what you views on me are." She said, "I will simply not allow you to trample on my Family any longer. And you will not lay a finger on Alyssa, do you understand?"
I turned to look ar Daranne, "This one is inconsistent." I told her, "One day she is terrified of me, the other she is willing to stab me in the neck."
I then turned back to look at Alysanne who was still giving me a scowl. I could tell there was anger and resentment in her eyes. I do wonder what makes her get this feisty with me.
"Go on." I said, "Stab me in the neck. I know you have wanted to do so for a long time. All the torment, you must be fed up. I will admit, it gets boring after a time; Draining your children….so I have to come up with new ways to torment your little happy family."
"And what ways are those?" She asked
I smirked, "Wouldn't you like to know?" I said, "You may be a Queen, Alysanne. But hour status means shit in these walls. You are in House Drakkengard's halls, no Targaryen has any power here."
"I do not care." She said, "I am here to see my daughter."
"She is busy." I said
"I am not." I heard Maegelle's voice
I turned to see her walking up to us from one of the side entrances.
"Maegelle…." Alysanne said, "You look well, daughter."
"Thank you mother." Maegelle said as she reached me, "My Lord, why must you keep antagonizing my mother? Have I not asked you nicely to stop it?"
"What position are you in to tell me how to act?" I asked her
"I am to be your Lady." She said
"You have not given yourself to me yet. So you are not my Lady yet." I said, "Unless you wish to change your mind, here in front of your Mother?"
"Now is not the time for this…." She frowned, "Not when Prince Aenys is ill."
"Ah. So it is about him." I said as I rolled my eyes, "Of course it is."
"He is a child." Maegelle said, "And my dear nephew."
I waved her off, "Fine fine." I said, "Tell Aemon to come so we can see what he brought me."
************
Daranne leaned into my shoulder, "I do wonder what he brings you."
"I just want this to be over with." I told her
I sat down in the round table in one of the main dinner halls of the castle. Daranne sat on my lap as I saw Maegelle sitting across the table next to her mother.
Mya sat next to me while holding Riktor. The boy was busy eating his food from his plate as she occasionally gave him water from the cup. A good look at this, one would state how good of a mother Mya is.
And she is, I will not lie. She is a good mother to my son. As is Daranne, but her boy is currently asleep so she has no need to be busy with him like Mya is.
I saw Alysanne's eyes on me; she had a hint of animosity in them. I could tell that she did not like that I had taken two mistresses in Mya and Daranne. But I simply could not care, They are my son's mothers.
The doors opened and I watched as Aemon walked in, escorted by two of my guards and was holding a large wooden case in his arms.
"Drakken…." He said
"My Prince." I said mockingly with a smirk
I noticed that a small boy walked in behind him. His face was somewhat pale and he looked to be holding in a cough. That was his son, Aenys.
Maegelle stood up and walked up to the boy, "Hello, Aenys." She said as she crouched down and hugged him, "Are you well?"
"Y-Yes…" the boy said
I looked at Aemon who placed the case on the table, "So?" I said, "What is this you have brought me?"
He gestured at it, "Open it."
"Ho?" I said as I stood up, causing Daranne to get off me in the process, "Confident are we?"
I walked over to him as he stepped away, a neutral look on his face.
I opened the case, seeing that it was a large greatsword. The handle was adorned with what I assumed was black leather, the hilt was simple and silver. The scabbard was also very simple, made out of leather with almost no engravings or designs.
"Hm?" I said as I grabbed it by the handle, "A greatsword. A good old blade….for one who does not use swords."
"Unsheathe it." Aemon said witha slight smile
I unsheathed it and saw the shiny blade had wavy pattern. It reminded me of Baelon's sword; Dark Sister.
It was Valyrian Steel.
"Hm." I said, "Valyrian Steel."
"Yes." He said, "It is rare and incredibly strong. A greatsword made out of Valyrian Steel is an incredible treasure."
"Yes but Valyrian Steel has never interested me. Yes, it is very sharp….but it is not my style.”
Aemon’s face hardened, “It is not something I would willingly hand over to anyone.” He said, “I went to grat lengths to obtain such a thing.”
“Shame, isn’t it?” I said with a chuckle
“Lord Drakken!” Maegelle said, “Please accept it, Valyrian Steel is the most valuable steel in the world. Nobody could dream of obtaining such a weapon….”
“Yes well, look who he brought it to…” i said, “Someone who does not ne-“
“Shiny sword!” I was cut off by Riktor
I looked at him and saw that his eyes were beaming, looking right at the sword as I held it in my hands.
“What?” I said, “You like it?”
He nodded rapidly, “Yes.”
I smirked, “Very well.” I said,
“It is yours.”
