"I will go and see Father now." Baelon walked away from his brothers, "I will see you later."
As he walked away, both Daeron and Aemond merely watched their elder brother walk out of the library.
Daeron looked at Aemond, "What do you think is going to happen?" He asked him, "I mean, she is here and all."
"I do not know." Aemond said, "We do not even know what had happened between the two of the. Two years ago, some servants overheard shouting in his room and Rhaenyra barged out of it crying."
"Hm. It must have been some pretty nasty fight. Has he said anything about it?" Daeron said
"Not really." Aemond crossed his arms, "Well...what can we do about it?"
"Not much." Daeron replied, "Hey, isn't Aemma here?"
"She is." Aemond said
"Are you not going to spend time with her?" Daeron asked
"Not really." Aemond said
"Why not? She's your betrothed." Daeron asked
"I will spend time with her when we are married. Right now, she can enjoy her free time without me." Aemond said, "Besides, I am busy."
"Huh, that is true." Daeron said, "Everyone is going to be married at some point, huh? Is there any way we can stop it?"
"Sure, become a Kingsguard or join the Night's Watch. But Mother would rather die than watch us go to the Wall." Aemond chuckled
"Tell me about it." Daeron said
The brothers stood there for a few more seconds, quietly staring at the doors. It was almost as if they were expecting Baelon to return for whatever reason.
Aemond sighed, "I'm going to the training yard." He said all of the sudden, "If you want, we can spar with Criston Cole. I know Baelon is going to go out of his way to avoid Rhaenyra and we won't spend that much time with him."
"Yea, that sounds good." Daeron said
************
"You make me wait all this time?" Viserys asked Baelon as he walked into his room, looking around, "Where were you? Helaena just left."
"Hm." Baelon said as he stood in front of his father, The King, "We saw each other recently, Father. There was no rush, I had to see my brothers. What did you wish to speak to me about?"
Baelon was still looking around the room, as if looking for something.
"Well, I was going to.....what are you doing?" Viserys asked
"Do not want an unwanted surprise, Father." Baelon said seriously, "I know how you can get, trying to get me to reconcile with her."
"No no, she's with Aemma in the Secret Gardens." Viserys told him
"Okay." Baelon said, "What were you saying?"
"Your Uncle is here." Viserys said, "And a couple other Lords from various Houses across the Realm. There is going to be a feast, all of us will attend. Only Lords, that is. The women....they will not join us."
"Alright." Baelon said as he looked at him, "And you want me to join? Who else is going?"
"Nobody from the list from two years if that's what you are referring to." The King said, "Just join us."
"Hm. I'll think about it." Baelon said
"No, no thinking. You are going." Viserys said with a chuckle, "Your Uncle has been wanting to see you."
"He could have gone visit me." Baelon said as he rolled his eyes, "Besides, I wish to be with Helaena."
"What is one night?" Viserys said with a chuckle, "Come now, Baelon. It will not hurt."
Baelon sighed and turned around, "Fine.." He said, "It cannot be helped, I suppose. You will always strongarm to attend these things."
"You are the Heir, you have to do such things." Viserys said, "Maintain appearances, that is."
"Hm." Baelon said, "Alright, is that all?"
"Yes." Viserys told him, "That is all. If you wish to spend time with your wife, so be it."
"Thank you." Baelon said as he glanced at him, "I'll take my leave."
***********
"Where have you been? I saw Aemond and Daeron..." Helaena said as she sat on her couch
Baelon was approaching her, "Sorry, I was doing something." He said as he looked around the room, "Did I miss something?"
Helaena frowned, "You were avoiding her."
"Yes." Baelon said as he sat down next to her, "I was."
"Why? She's our sister." She said, "You should see her."
"You're the only one I want to see." Baelon wrapped his arm around her waist and embraced her, "Just you. Nobody else."
Helaena frowned even more, "Baelon, this is not right...." She said, "You cannot avoid her forever. It is wrong, she is blood."
"Helaena...please...." Baelon kissed her shoulder, "I do not wish to speak of it."
"F-Fine..." Helaena said as she patted his hand, "What did Father say to you?"
"Some feast is going to happen tonight, he wants me to attend." Baelon told her, "I would rather be with you but the King ordered it."
"I see." Helaena said, "I will be with Mother."
"Alright." Baelon said as he rested his chin on her shoulder, rubbing her thigh with one of his hands, "That's good...."
"Things have changed in two years, haven't they?" Helaena asked
Baelon nodded, "You can say that."
"We grew up here." Helaena said softly
"We did." Baelon replied
"I miss it....." She said as she looked at Baelon, "Very much...."
"I know you do." Baelon patted her cheek and gave her a smile, "Have you eaten?"
"Y-Yes....a bit..." Helaena said
"Good..." Baelon said as he leaned in and briefly kissed her lips, "That's good..."
Helaena blushed, "I..." She said, "We already....uhm..."
Baelon raised an eyebrow, "What is it?"
The prince began to kiss the princess's neck as she leaned back and blushed even more.
"What are you doing?" Helaena asked as she hugged his neck, "Baelon...."
"Kissing you." Baelon said as he embraced her, "I cannot?"
"It's not that..." Helaena said, "B-But....people might hear us...."
"Hm...." Baelon said as he pulled away, "Then....no?"
"I....I did not say that..." She said as she looked away
Baelon chuckled, "You are simply adorable." He kissed her cheek, "Tonight?"
"Sure...." Helaena said with a slight nod, "Not too late, I will be tired."
"I'll make sure to come back early." Baelon said as he stood up and stretched his arms, "I am going to go spar with Aemond if that is alright with you."
"That is fine." Helaena said, "Can I watch?"
Baelon looked at her, "Of course." He said with a smile, "You can always come and watch whenever you want."
"But you're going to see him getting his ass kicked."
