🕑 Added 2024-05-31 22:32:04 +0000 UTC[A/N: I am sorry for the short chapter. Been busy lately and am too tired to write. I won't work on my Novel today, so don't feel like I'm neglecting you guys.]
(Third Person POV)
Kiryu swung his sword down at Naoya, hitting nothing.
Naoya appeared behind him, rearing his hand back as he smirked with blood all over his face.
"You can keep the old man!" Naoya said, "I'm gonna kill you, Megumi, and Maki-chan!! Once I do that, I'll take control of the Zenin Clan and come out on top!"
He swung his hand at Kiryu, trying to hit his open palm at him, but the Gojo Clan Head immediately jumped out of the way.
Kiryu landed a few feet away and assumed a stance, being cloaked in thick blue cursed energy.
"Calamity: Actualization of The Grand Disaster"
Naoya felt a shift in the air as there was a slight shockwave.
"What the...." He muttered
Kiryu then swung his sword, sending several energy slices at Naoya, but missed wildly as the Zenin used his technique to avoid the attacks and close the distance.
"Hey." Naoya said as he reached him and instantly went to touch his shoulder, "How about a little respect for your elder?"
As soon as Naoya made contact, he was hit with a massive spark of energy that sent him reeling.
"W-What?" He said, "My te-"
"You're trash." Kiryu cut him off by punching him in the face and sent him flying
Naoya crashed against the ground hard, immediately getting up as he clutched his face.
"What was that?!" He exclaimed, "You should've been affected by my technique! I wanted you to move but you didn't!!"
Kiryu sheathed his sword and assumed an Iai stance, still clad in the thick blue cursed energy.
"You think you're the only one with Projection Sorcery? You may be a bit faster than your Father, but he's better than you." Kiryu told him, "I developed a way to counter it. I am clad in Cursed Energy Destruction, any Cursed Technique that affects me or my body is rendered obsolete."
"Calamity: Blade of Susano'o"
Naoya widened his eyes as he saw a flash from Kiryu's grip on his sword.
"Shi-" He said as he activated his technique
In a split second, he attempted to jump out of the way using Projection Sorcery but was hit by a massive slice that cut his left arm off, causing him to crash against the ground.
The attack fired at him by Kiryu was a sword slice engulfed with Cursed Energy Destruction, meant to obliterate anything and anyone caught within it. Kiryu, however, held its full destructive capability back. Why? He didn't want Naoya to die just yet.
"AAGHHHH!!!!" Naoya yelled in pain as he clutched his wound
Blood poured out of where his arm was, drenching his left side completely as he got on his knees. He looked over to the side, seeing a massive gash on the ground, smoke coming out of it.
He then saw his arm slowly disintegrate on the ground, "Y-You bastard....." He managed as he panted heavily
Kiryu took a step forward, "Did you really think that you or your Father were faster than my blade?" He said with a serious look on his face, "You did well, though, I meant to cut you in half while keeping you alive...."
"Y-You son of a bitch..." Naoya said as his face was in agonizing pain, "I'll....I'll make sure Maki is dead...I'll make sure Mai is dead too!!! You won't get away with this, Kiryu!!! You and your Cousin, you and your women!! I always hated you!!!"
"Out of all Zenin, the only one that I ever came close to respecting, even a bit......" Kiryu said as he reached Naoya, "It was probably Toji.....but not because he was a saint or anything.....He was Strong. He reminded me of my Father.......He was the strongest before Satoru and Toji was the only one capable of rivaling him. When my Father died, it was Toji's turn to get that mantle....."
Naoya glared at him, "You like him so much....you should go to hell and see him!" He growled
Kiryu gave him a menacing glare, "I wanted to give your Clan an offering of Peace....but you spat in my face. Just like you kept doing so in the past." He said, "After I kill you, I'm going to make sure all of the Zenin are eradicated—every one of them. Megumi, Maki, and Mai....I'll have them rebuild the Zenin from the ground up. Make it better and more tolerable."
"What of my Father, huh?" Naoya spat blood, "Will you execute him?"
"I'll leave him to his fate." Kiryu said as he lifted his blade up, "If he wishes to challenge me after he recovers, I'll kill him too, I don't give a shit."
"Calamity: Divine Smite"
"I'LL CURSE YOU FOR ETERNITY, GOJO KIRYU!!!" Naoya screamed as Kiryu's blade struck him
In an instant, his entire body was engulfed in a bright white light, burning him from the inside out, exploding violently and disintegrating completely. The light caused a massive shockwave that shattered the ground and trembled the air.
After the light died down, Kiryu lifted his blade up and saw that there was nothing but a black smudge on the ground.
"Curse me?" Kiryu said with a serious tone, "How can you Curse me when you're dead?"
"Fucking piece of shit."
