Zeref looked at the ship in the distance with a serious frown.
"So." He said, "Does he really think he has an advantage here?"
Irene raised an eyebrow, "Let me handle him, Your Majesty." She said while taking a step, "I-"
"No." Zeref said seriously, "You had your chance. August, Handle him. Tell Invel to proceed with the assault, kill every Fairy on the Ground, and bring me Fairy Heart. Irene, you deal with any incoming reinforcements from the outside. And command that beast to as I said, Now."
Irene nodded, "Very well." She said before looking up at Erion, "Erion. Go. Attack the ship."
Erion looked down at Irene and let out a low whine.
Zeref looked up at the dragon, "If the beast doesn't do as it's told, there will be consequences." He said, "Don't make me discipline it, Irene."
"Your Majesty." August spoke up, "I'll reign it in."
August pointed his staff at Erion, hitting him with a flash of light straight at Erion's neck.
Erion jerked his head upwards and let out a shriek of pain. He thrashed his body around as the entire ship began to shake violently.
Irene widened his eyes, "August!!" She exclaimed, "What do you think you're doing?!"
"Controlling it." August said, "His Majesty has spoken, Irene. Do not disobey."
Erion planted his feet on the floor of the deck and let out a fierce roar as he glared at August. The force of the roar was enough to shatter the wooden floor and nearly push everyone on it a bit. Zeref was unfazed by this and merely looked at the dragon.
"A rebel, huh?" He said, "No matter. August."
"He's a bit difficult..." August said, "But..."
Erion's neck was covered by a massive glowing chain of light that coiled around it, forcing him to the ground.
Irene merely watched with a mixture of shock and horror, seeing her son being enslaved by the magic of her fellow Shield.
August looked at this, "Do not let your emotions cloud our objective, Irene." He said, "It is merely His Maje-"
Without warning, August immediately raised a barrier that blocked a massive blast of energy that exploded violently. The force of the explosion ripped apart the front of the ship they were on.
Zeref looked ahead, "Seems like he's not taking this lying down...." He said, "That Jason."
August narrowed his eyes, "It seems so.."
In the distance, Jason was seen riding atop his Archangel's Might ship holding what seemed like a massive rail-gun cannon on his shoulder, aiming at them. He was slowly making his way towards the fleet, hovering in the middle of the air.
"Sons of bitches..." He growled as he glared at them, "I'll show you...."
"Hm..." August said, "Jason.....I shall demonstrate to you, what it means to oppose us."
August waved his staff forward, releasing an immense wave of magic power.
"Calamitas: Tempestas Morti!!!"
Almost immediately, Jason was surrounded with dozens of fierce black cyclones of wind. The winds of the cyclones were powerful enough to throw his ship off balance and cause Jason to fall off.
"Shit!!!" Jason exclaimed
"Tonitruum"
The cyclones immediately closed in on Jason, hitting him with violent gales, and all of them detonated with powerful explosions of lightning that continuously engulfed the entirety of the area. They were so powerful that the damage done to Jason's airship caused it to disappear.
The sight of several massive cyclones being engulfed with continuous explosions of lightning, all while meteors rained down from the sky was something out of an apocalyptic event. Space itself was shaking, distorted by the pure power of the man behind this scene.
This was the power of The King of Magic, August.
"May your coffin be comfortable, Jason." August said, "A coffin made out of the winds and lightning of death..."
Zeref smirked, "Magnificent, August." He said, "This is why you're my General."
As Zeref said that, There was a bright black light emerging from where Jason was engulfed. Suddenly, the cyclones and explosions were split up into several sections, almost as if they were cut. In the middle of it, Jason floated wielding what looked like a massive Odachi, in an Iai stance.
August widened his eyes, "What?!"
Irene narrowed her eyes, "His Sword God Slayer magic..." She said, "It appears your attack wasn't enough, August....Your Majesty, if you allow me to-"
"Silence!" Zeref snapped, "August! Have the beast kill him, now!!"
"As you wish-" August started but was cut off by a barrage of black slices
The slices hit his right, cutting up a large portion of the ship. August immediately deployed a massive barrier to protect the ship from the slices. The slices, which were fired by Jason, were hitting against the barrier, slightly cracking them. This kind of power was not expected by August.
"Curses...." August said, "It seems I miscalculated his power...Dragon! Fly towards him and send him down!!!"
As he said this, Erion took flight, the power of his wings shaking the ship itself. He then immediately flew towards Jason while letting out a roar.
"Erion..." Irene said
"Irene!" Zeref said, "Go to the ground. Surround the city with your army and work with Invel. August and I will handle Jason. Also, make sure the others are fully healed to join in on the assault. If you have the opportunity to retrieve Brandish, do it. Those are your orders."
Irene nodded, "Yes, Sire...." She said before disappearing
Zeref then looked at August, "Are you okay?" He asked, "Keeping up the meteor spell up while using a powerful controlling spell and using this barrier isn't easy."
August nodded, "I shall release the meteor spell and focus on Jason." He said, "No need to worry about me, Your Majesty. The beast shall take the majority of the damage."
As this was said, Erion reached Jason and swiped his claws at him.
Jason dodged the attack by flinging himself over the claws, "Erion!!!" He exclaimed, "What the fuck?! What kind of spell do they have you under?!"
Erion's eyes were whitened out, glowing brightly as he growled viciously and swiped his claws at his father.
Jason was able to dodge the majority of the attacks, blocking and deflecting some of them. A feat that shouldn't be capable by anyone else, considering Erion's immense physical prowess.
Jason noticed the chains made out of light and narrowed his eyes.
"So they put chains on you, eh?" He growled, "Those fuckers! And Curse Irene!!! For letting this happen!!!!"
Erion then lunged at Jason, going for a fierce maw, biting down on empty air as Jason dodged out of the way.
"Worry not, son." Jason said as cut through his chains, "Your old man is saving you!!"
"Sword Sage's Edge:"
As his sword was glowing brightly, the chains on Erion's neck snapped and shattered, releasing the dragon from August's spell.
"Release"
August widened his eyes, "Impossible!!!" He exclaimed
"So, he has tricks up his sleeve..." Zeref said, "We just handed him his beast of a son back......"
"My apologies, Your Majesty." August said
"No worries." Zeref replied, "Prepare for an onslaught. And kill the beast."
Back to Jason, he looked at Erion who was flapping his wings and shaking his head, letting out a low rumble.
"Alright." Jason said as he landed on his back, "Listen up, kiddo. I'm only gonna say this once. Turn around and face those fuckers. Man, I'd hate to even do this to you, using you as a weapon....."
Erion slowly turned around and glared at the fleet of Alvarez ships, letting out a deep growl.
"Yea..." Jason said with anger in his voice, "I'm pissed too.......but fuck it...."
"We're letting loose."
