"Seems to me that you're not handling this well." Jason said
He was watching as his Banished Knights were overwhelming Kyoka and Seilah who were struggling to keep themselves in the pace. The Knights were relentlessly attacking them with their weapons and their magic.
As Oleg and Envgall fought Kyoka and Seilah, Gustav was merely cutting down the Alvarez Soldiers with ease, taking out dozens with each of his charges.
Kyoka, who was bleeding from Oleg's attack, was trying to deflect the knight's claymore slashes with her tendrils.
"This power..." She said, "His armor doesn't allow my curse to take effect!"
Seilah was being sent flying by Envgall's halberd strikes with ease, getting hit by his wind as well.
"Kyoka-sama!" She said as she got to her feet, "Do we....?"
Jason was standing there, merely shooting at straggling soldiers who attempted to charge at him. With every felled soldier, a white glowing orb appeared and flew at Jason, granting him the buff from his magic handcannon.
Jason sighed, "Man." He said, "I figured you'd be stronger since you're directly under a Shield of Spriggan. Guess I expected too much."
Jason lifted Lumina and fired three rounds. The rounds flew straight at the Banished Knights, engulfing them in the white auras, and activating the buff. This gave them enhanced power and healed them a bit if they were damaged; which they weren't.
Upon receiving the buff, the Knights picked their aggression up, relentlessly cutting down dozens of soldiers with such a fury that even Jason was impressed by.
"Man." He said, "At this rate, I won't do shit."
Kyoka jumped in the air and attempted to hit Oleg with multiple shocking tendrils but the Knight was able to dodge out of the way, cutting down soldiers in the process.
Seilah was using Macro on the soldiers and using them as meatshields to protect her from Envgall's halberd which shredded them to pieces.
He then took a step forward as he placed his hand on his chin, "Hm...." He said, "Was my help really necessary here? These two aren't that much of an issue. I mean, to me at least. They could've been trouble for anyone else..."
He then looked around and saw that there was no end to the Alvarez forces that were aiding Kyoka and Seilah.
He then snapped his fingers, activating a spell.
"Battlefield: Infantry's Pinch"
The entire area began to shift, the land shaping completely and pushing Kyoka, Seilah, and the majority of the alvarez soldiers into the middle of the area.
Suddenly, there were glowing and transparent soldiers that surrounded them, wielding swords and spears. These were phantom soldiers summoned by Jason's Battlefield spell.
The Banished Knights stood amongst the soldiers as they surrounded them in a circle. It was also worth noting that the phantom soldiers and the knights were still surrounded by a massive amount of Alvarez soldiers.
Jason, who was standing atop a rock overseeing the whole ordeal, looked down at his soldiers.
"Push them in." He commanded, "As for the ones behind you, keep them at bay."
Without hesitation, the phantom soldiers charged straight through the forces that they had in the middle, skewering the soldiers and cutting them down.
The Banished Knights wasted no time and pushed straight through the soldiers making their way back to the She-Demons, going through them like a hot knife goes through butter.
Jason watched as Kyoka and Seilah were in the middle of their forces, looking out with annoyance.
"Yo!" He called to them, "It ain't too late to surrender to me! I can still rewrite you and we can go back to the way we were!"
Kyoka scowled, "Quiet, you fool!" He said, "What makes you think we'll agree to that?!"
Jason smirked, "I once submitted the both of you with ease." He said, "I can do it again. But this time, It won't be due to you being weakened. It'll be because I'm too strong."
Seilah glared at him, "Kyoka-sama." She said, "We must do it."
Kyoka nodded, "Yea." She said, "Let's."
Suddenly, they were engulfed in explosions of light and Jason noticed that their curse power rose tremendously. The explosions of light were powerful enough to send their surrounding soldiers flying and the ground began to shake violently.
Jason then watched as they revealed to have been transformed.
"Etherious Form"
He smiled smugly, "Oh?" He said, "Etherious form?"
Kyoka glared at him, "We'll kill you now." She hissed
As she said this, Oleg reached her and swung his claymores at him. Kyoka then swung her hand at him, slashing him straight through, completely obliterating the Banished Knight. This caused Jason to be a bit surprised; he didn't expect such a massive power gap between her default form and her etherious form.
Envgall also reached Seilah who was in Etherious Form and rushed at the Banished Knight, punching a hole straight through him, obliterating him as well.
"Well, I'll be damned." Jason said
Before anything else, Jason heard a loud howling that shook the air around them. Both Kyoka and Seilah looked up, surprised by this sound as well. All of this happened as Gustav and the phantom soldiers were fighting and cutting down the Alvarez Forces.
Jason raised his eyebrow, "They're here?"
Then, a massive figure crashed down into the fray right next to Jason, causing a massive shockwave that sent everything flying away.
The Alvarez Soldiers and the She-Demons widened their eyes to see a massive red four-armed beast rearing his head back and letting out a deafening roar. His upper body was covered in a giant fur coat and his lower body wasn't even flesh, it was purely mechanical, as if someone had crafted the legs out of pure black steel.
"Oga." Jason said with a smile, "You're here."
This was Oga, one of the Ifrit Demons that Jason had befriended, brother of Igora. He was wielding two massive stone hammers on two hands on each side and without wasting time, he attacked the Alvarez soldiers that surrounded the phantom infantry.
Suddenly, another figure landed next to Jason, this time, it was the same size as him.
"Jason!" Igora said as she cleared the dust cloud, "You could've told me that War has begun!"
Jason smiled slightly, "Heh, that's my bad." He said
Igora took a step, revealing her human form as she leaned her iron kanabo on her shoulder.
As she did this, she let out a fiery red aura that both Kyoka and Seilah noticed. Their eyes were widened with surprise.
"T-Two Ifrits..." Kyoka said, "But they're extinct!"
"What is the meaning of this..." Seilah said
"So these are the Demons you once had as companions, eh?" She said, "Well, it seems their replacement is here to settle the score."
"I shall slay them!"
