🕑 Added 2024-01-26 01:24:21 +0000 UTC(Third Person POV)
"Kill me?" August said, "Your age is making you senile, Hades."
Hades scowled at him, "Don't give me that crap." Hades said as he raised his hand, "We're both old men."
"Amaterasu: Formula 87"
In a swift motion, Hades swiped his hands, drawing runes in front of him that glowed bright purple. Suddenly, several purple magic circles appeared around August as the Magic King looked up. He felt a massive surge of magic power as Hades snapped his fingers.
The magic circles glowed brightly and detonated, exploding violently with magic power as they engulfed August.
The explosion dwarfed the entire camp as the soldiers were scattering around, the ground shaking as the shockwaves of the explosions were massive.
Suddenly, as a counter-attack, Hades was hit with a massive blast of magic power that sent him flying back.
"Ughhh!" He groaned as he reeled back, "What in the..."
As the explosion subsided, August appeared unharmed where he stood.
"Interesting." He said, "Amaterasu magic, quite powerful at that, too. I must admit, aside from myself and His Majesty, I would consider you among the few mages in the world with the most versatility. Not anyone can easily cast such high level Amaterasu Spells with no build-up."
Hades straightened up, "Hm..." He said, "You used barrier magic...." He said, "But.....my Amaterasu must've undone any magic....unless.....Of course, you've reversed-engineered Amaterasu Formulas 1-100 and developed barriers for it.."
August stroked his beard, "Of course." He said, "Amaterasu is among the first High Level magic that I've mastered. Over my years as a member of Alvarez, I've developed counter measures for such magic."
Hades raised his arm yet again, "Interesting, boy." He said with a smirk, "I must admit, you've grown quite powerful, but...."
He gestured his hand in a finger-gun and released a bright purple light.
"AmaterasuxBullet: Railgun of The Flame God"
In an instant, multiple magic circles appeared in the air, forming a tunnel towards August as the Shield looked at this in awe.
"What is this?" He said
Suddenly, a bright beam of purple magic power shot straight at the Magic King, hitting him dead on and causing a massive explosion that shook the ground yet again. As the explosion detonated, August was engulfed in purple flames that caused a rupture effect and detonated violently, causing more explosions.
Hades began to stroke his own beard, "I suppose you didn't develop counter-measures for this, though.." He said, "A little trick I developed to deal with a troublesome opponent like yourself, boy. I tweaked it a bit and intended it to use it against that brat, Jason...."
August appeared out of the smoke with his cloak slightly tattered as he patted his chest.
"Interesting..." He said, "That was quite something...."
Hades frowned, "But it appears it was nothing to you..." He said
August nodded, "I have quite the high resistance to any sort of direct magical damage." He said, "Like I said, I have developed several counter-measures.."
"Hmm..." Hades said
"But enough of this." He said, "Allow me to use this..."
August slammed his staff on the ground, releasing a bright green magic circle that expanded rapidly and covered the entire area around him with an intense magic power.
"Huh?" Hades said
"This is my own Amaterasu spell." August said, "Can you handle it?"
"Amaterasu Formula 101: Verdant"
Hades immediately noticed that the space within the magic circle was beginning to become warped, several rune circles that varied in size appeared all around him as they released an intense magic power.
"This...." He said, "This type of spell is enough to fell a Wizard Saint in a single hit...."
August nodded, "Indeed." He said, "I cast it to surround the entirety of the area around us. I'm immune to it, but you are not, I am afraid. What this will do is cast several separate Amaterasu spells around you as a precaution but not only that, the entire magic circle is the 101st Formula itself, it draws from the energy of the nature around us, further enhancing its power. Now tell me, Precht, how do you intend to survive this?"
Hades chuckled, "Magnificent, boy." He said with a smile, "You've developed a much superior spell than the entirety of the Amaterasu Arsenal, I commend you. But, I do have something in mind to disable such a thing."
August raised his eyebrow, "Is that so?" He said, "I find it hard to believe."
As the spell was about to detonate, Hades brought both of his hands in front of him and formed them into a gesture as a dark purple light orb appeared, releasing beams of light from it as his magic power rose exponentially.
"Grimoire Law"
"With this." Hades said, "I shall render your power useless."
Hades then clasped his hands, detonating the spell and resulting in a massive explosion of dark magic power. This happened as soon as August's spell detonated which in turned caused a combined explosion that covered a massive portion of the camp and shook the entirety of the camp.
Within the surge of magic power caused by the explosion, August stood, unfazed.
"Hm...." He said, "Interesting...."

"What's wrong, Jason?" Mavis asked Jason who had jerked his head upward
They were in the briefing room of The Nemesis, discussing the Northern Battle when Jason suddenly got distracted.
"This is not good..." He said
Mavis frowned, "What is it?"
"Hades." He said, "He's out there."
"He's fighting August....."
