🕑 Added 2023-10-29 21:12:53 +0000 UTC(Third Person POV)
Jason jumped away as Wahl lunged at him and punched the ground where he stood at, causing a massive shockwave.
"What the hell?" Jason said as he landed a couple of feet away
"Kehehe!" Wahl sneered, "You're Jason, eh? The one His Majesty wanted for me to fight."
Jason raised an eyebrow, "Huh?" He said, "Spriggan?"
Wahl looked at him, "Oh? You know of him?"
'Why the hell does Zeref wants to have his goons to fight me?' Jason though to himself as he readied a stance, 'Does this have to do with the spy? with Eneri?'
Wahl waved his hand outwards, "Oh, let's get this party started!!!" He yelled
Suddenly, various missiles appeared above Wahl.
He gave Jason a wicked smirk, "Take this."
"Weakness: Bombardment."
The missiles launched themselves at Jason who attempted to dodge them, but to his shock, the missiles homed in to him.
"What the hell?" Jason said as he ran away from the missiles that still followed him
Wahl laughed, "Kehe!" He said, "My missiles are heat-seeking ones and when they come in contact with you, they will explode with napalm! I'll burn you to death."
Wahl then clapped his hands as a long and thin cannon appeared above his shoulder.
"But Just in case." Wahl said as he looked at Jason
Jason turned around and waved his hand at the missiles. Suddenly, the missiles hit an invisible barrier and exploded, causing a massive cloud of flames as they all caused a massive explosion which resulted in a shockwave.
"Tch." Jason said as he looked at Wahl
Wahl smirked, "Interesting." He said
"Railgun."
Wahl's cannon then glowed bright blue as it fired a compressed energy payload at Jason. The shot was about to hit Jason straight but something caused it to move to the right as it hit behind Jason, causing a massive explosion behind him.
"Fuck this." Jason said
He looked at Wahl who was releasing an immense magic aura.
"Ohoho!" Wahl said, "You're quite something!"
Jason narrowed his eyes, "hm.." He said
Wahl then summoned three mechanical soldiers next to him.
"Weakness: Soldier."
'This is not good.' Jason said, 'Wahl's magic allows him to scan my current state to come up with a direct counter. They can take the form of those mechanical soldiers he just summoned....'
The soldiers then launched at Jason.
Jason readied a stance, but one of them got ahead of the others. It reared it's hand back and punched the invisible barrier Jason had deployed in front of him. Suddenly, there were massive purple sparks coming from the soldier's fist as it clashed with Jason's barrier.
"Tch." Jason said as the soldier punched it again
Jason then felt as if the barrier was broken, the other two soldiers rushing past the first one.
He then waved his hand.
"Gravity God's Presence."
He attempted to create a wave of gravity to force the soldiers down, but one of them stood still as it raised its arms as they split apart and emitted energy from them. Jason felt as if his gravity was somehow countered and reverse.
"Tch." Jason said, "This is not good."
The third soldier then appeared in front of Jason, Jason immediately touched it in the chest, attempting to increase its weight to force it down to the ground.
Jason narrowed his eyes as he noticed that it didn't work. The soldier then pointed it's arm in front of him it had a large spherical object in its hand. It began to glow red.
"Weakness: Anti-Gravitational Bomb!"
Suddenly, the soldier exploded and Jason was caught up in the red energy.
The explosion sent him flying as he tried to regain his footing. He ended up crashing onto the ground, his clothes tattered as his body was bruised.
Wahl looked at him with a smirk, "Interesting.." He said, "So you wield gravity powers, eh?"
Wahl's left eye was glowing orange as it had a cross-hair on it. This was his Weakness in play, he was currently scanning Jason to come up with a perfect counter to his magic.
"His Majesty told me to be careful with you." Wahl said, "But if this is what you're capable of, then his worry is unwarranted. You're nothing but a phony."
Jason stood up and scowled, "Shut up."
'I got to be careful at how I play this.' Jason thought to himself, 'This is Alvarez at play, I can't let them find out about my arsenal. I instinctively activated Gravity God Slayer magic because of the Limitless barrier. I cannot let him find out about the other elements, especially my main God Slayer magic.'
He patted dirt off his shirt as he looked at Wahl.
Wahl smirked, "That's all you got?" He said, "My Weakness magic is telling me to continue using those three soldiers, but where's the fun in that?"
He waved his arms.
"Weakness: Anti-Gravity Missiles."
Several glowing missiles appeared above him as he looked at Jason.
Jason wiped his mouth as Wahl fired the missiles at him. Jason then instantly lunged at Wahl, avoiding the missiles as they hit the spot where he stood, resulting in a massive explosion.
Jason then reached Wahl as he emitted a crimson red aura.
'No choice.' He thought to himself, 'I can't play my main hand to them. This is as best as I can do, hopefully it pays off.'
"Obliteration Style: Thousand Flash Flurry."
In an instant, Jason hit Wahl with a flurry of obliteration-style kicks. They were so fast that after-images were cast, hitting Wahl all over his body as they sent him flying back.
Wahl hit the ground hard as smoke came out of his body. He then stood up as his body was severely bruised and cracked.
"Whoa!" He said, "That was surprising!"
Wahl scanned Jason and was surprised to see what his Weakness detected.
"Martial Arts Magic?" Wahl said as he slouched down, "Now that's a magic I never heard of..."
He then straightened up and raised his arm as it began to morph, emitting energy.
"Weakness: Black Energy Blade."
Wahl's arm turned into a massive curved black sword that was emitting dark blue energy. This is the result of his Weakness magic coming up with a counter to Jason.
"If you're using your fists, then I suppose a blade will do." Wahl said while smirking, "This blade's energy will counter your strange red energy. I don't know why but my Weakness does not lie. I don't recognize that power...."
Jason smiled slightly, "Bring it then."
A light bulb had turned on in Jason's head. He had just realized something crucial for him. And it was that Wahl was a member of the Machia tribe, the strongest machine from that race.
'What a fucking idiot.' Jason thought to himself, 'He legitimately created a weapon that I can counter him with. I'll switch to my Black God Slayer at the last second, he won't tell if I'm clad with Obliteration-Style aura.....'
Jason readied a stance as he emitted a thicker crimson aura, it was so dense that it cracked the ground beneath him. This power was unsettling for Wahl, but he didn't let that bother him.
"Well, let's cut you in half!!" Wahl sneered as he lunged, "Take this!!"
Jason lunged at him as well, "Fuck you!"
As they met halfway, Wahl swung his blade at Jason, expecting to sever him in half.
Jason then opened his mouth as Wahl felt a massive shift in his magic power.
"Great Devour."
Suddenly, Wahl's blade was devoured by Jason in an instant. Almost instantly, Wahl attempted to replace the sword by morphing another one. The second the sword formed again, it was siphoned into Jason's mouth as he grasped Wahl by the shoulders.
"W-What!!!" Wahl said as he began to sweat a little
This was a feeling he wasn't used to. Jason had his mouth on Wahl's arm as the Shield attempted to regenerate the sword, almost instinctively. But the more he tried, the more Jason devoured his sword, feeding him more black power.
Wahl then scanned him with Weakness.
In his eyes, all the magic told him was one thing.
"Let go."
Wahl then attempted to free himself but as he moved, Jason gripped his shoulders tighter. Wahl looked at Jason's eyes, they were pitch black as he felt an immense and ominous magic power be released from his body.
"What the..." Wahl said
He then stopped morphing the sword to prevent Jason from devouring it. As soon as he did this, Jason let go of his shoulders and just kicked him away.
Wahl hit the ground hard as Jason landed on the ground.
"Fuck." Jason said as he clutched his stomach, "Never liked this part."
"It'll be ugly."
