Eneri stood over Jason as she looked at him with a saddened face.
"Jason..." She said sadly, "I wished to spend a bit more time with you before it came to this."
Jason looked up at her as his eyes became heavier by the second.
"Eneri-san...." He managed, "It's....you.....you're the spy...."
Eneri nodded, "Yes." She said, "I'm sorry, my dear."
"But why...." Jason struggled to speak, "Why do this..."
Eneri sighed, "You've piqued my Emperor's interest." She said, "He wishes to see you for himself."
"That....." Jason said as his voice faded, "Bastard....."
Eneri raised her arm and pointed it at Jason who was fading to unconsciousness.
"I apologize, my dear. I wished to have a taste of you before this." She said, "But orders are orders..."
Suddenly, Eneri jumped away as a ball of fire was fired at her. The fireball hit the spot where she stood and exploded.
Eneri looked at the direction of where it came from, "What?" She said surprised, "Who?"
Suddenly, from the shadows, a lone man appeared. He had long and spiky orange hair that jutted out in the shape of bunny-ears. He wore an attire similar to that of Fiore's magic council but with a darker color. The most notable thing of his appearance was the large wheel of blades that was on his back.
Azuma, who was struggling to get back up, recognize the man and widened his eyes in shock.
"G-God Serena!!" He exclaimed
Eneri widened her eyes in surprise, "God Serena?" She said, "The Rank 1 Wizard Saint? The Strongest Mage in Fiore?"
God Serena smirked as he struck a pose, "That's right!!!" He yelled, "It is I, the man himself, God Serena!!"
Eneri shifted in her feet, "I see." She said, "This will be troublesome."
God Serena smiled smugly, "I was enlisted by that midget, Darton." He said, "I am to capture that man, Jason is his name, I believe."
Eneri smiled back, "I am afraid I cannot let you have him." She said, "I must take him with me."
God Serena chuckled, "I doubt you'll be capable of that." He said, "Even if you're a strong one, you cannot fight me without getting injured."
Eneri tilted her head, "That is true." She said, "Not in this state, that is."
Before anyone could say anything, Jason slowly stood up, releasing a thick black aura, his magic power skyrocketing.
God Serena looked at him with surprise, "Oh?" He said, "Want to fight? Sure, I'll take you on."
Eneri looked at Jason with a bead of sweat running down her face, "This is bad." She said, "My sleeping spell should've had him knocked out by now. How is he fighting this?"
Jason then slowly looked up at God Serena as his eyes were pitch black.
"Oh, what's this?" God Serena said
Eneri gasped, "Wait, this feeling.." She managed
Suddenly, Jason lunged at God Serena, striking at him. God Serena had blocked Jason's attack with both of his forearms as a massive shockwave erupted from the impact.
The Wizard Saint smirked, "Oh, that's a good power coming from you." God Serena said, "But your demeanor is strange."
God Serena then pushed him off and waved his arm, sending a massive wave of water that engulfed Jason. However, in an instant, Jason had dispersed the water with his black flames as he swung his fist at the wizard saint.
God Serena widened his eyes, "Oh?" He said, "That's a new one."
Jason then fired off a massive beam of black flames, only for God Serena to summon a massive wall of earth that blocked the flames. He then jumped up at Jason and punched him straight down to the ground, resulting in a massive shockwave.
Almost instantaneously, Jason stood right back up which surprised the wizard saint.
"Man, what the hell?" He said, "I know I'm strong, that should've knocked you out in your current state. What the hell is that aura anyways?"
Eneri began to back up, "That's the God Ego." She said under her breath, "This is not good. My sleeping spell pushed him to that point. If God Serena subdues him, it'll be because of my spell conflicting with his Ego. I have no choice but to retreat."
"I'll find a way to get him."
******************************************
"Hahaha!!!" God Serena laughed as he stood over Jason, "That was something else, man!"
Jason was face down as blood poured out of his head.
God Serena looked around him, their surroundings were reduced to nothing but ash and smoke resulting from their fight.
God Serena looked at Jason, "If you weren't affected by that woman's sleeping spell, the fight would've gone much differently." He said, "But it is as to be expected. You got me good thought."
He rubbed a bruise on his cheek.
Then, multiple armored soldiers appeared and swarmed the location.
God Serena looked up at them and gave them a smirk, "Oh, yea, make sure you arrest the Grimoire Heart guys." He said, "This one I'll personally deliver to the Garou Knights at one of their safehouses."
One of the armored soldiers walked up to him, "Shouldn't you go and deliver him to Darton?" He asked
Serena scoffed, "I don't give a fuck about that." He said, "I did my job here, okay? I subdued him. Fortunately, it was easier than I believed."
He looked at a massive crater that was dozens of meters away from them. The crater was deep and had a lot of smoke coming out from it.
"This guy....." God Serena said seriously,
"Is a Monster."
