"M-Master!!" a member of Fairy Tail frantically yelled, "The darkness, it's coming!!"
In Magnolia, there was a massive leak of Eclipse Darkness that was oozing from the ground. The moment it was detected, Makarov ,the Master of Fairy Tail, evacuated the entire city as he told his mages to try and contain it with the rune barriers provided by the Magic Council.
Makarov was sitting in a chair inside the guild hall, looking up at a large screen in front of him. On the screen, was a map of Magnolia and there were some large and black dots on the screen, scattered around the map.
"How badly is it?" Makarov asked, "This screen may not be accurate."
One of the random mages walked up, "Master, we tried using those Rune Barriers, but it's no use." He said, "The darkness corroded it and is spreading!"
"Hmm..." Makarov said, "That is no good."
Mirajane walked up to Makarov, "Master..." She said with a concerned face, "I have Lucy in a safe room with her keys."
Makarov nodded, "Good." He said, "If we let her come in contact, her keys will corrupt."
Lisanna and Levy also walked up, "Gajeel and the others have scattered around the city." Levy said, "They're doing their best in keeping it at bay."
Makarov sighed, "If there's no change with the rune barriers, I might as well do it." He said, "I'll have to use That."
Mirajane gulped, "I hope it doesn't come to that..." She said
Levy looked up at the screen, "How did things come to this?" She asked, "It makes no sense."
Makarov stood up, "We don't know, child." He said, "But all we know is that we must put a stop to this. If the darkness spread and devours the celestial keys, who knows what will happen then."
Suddenly, Warren ran up to them.
"Master!" He said, "I just received word!"
Makarov looked at him, "What is it?"
"There's been reports of several massive leaks at different places in the country!!" He exclaimed
"So it's not just here." Makarov said, "This is much worse than we imagined....."
"Yea, but that's the thing...." Warren said, "The leaks were successfully contained by Jason!"
Makarov widened his eyes, "Jason, you say?" He said in disbelief
"So it's true?" Levy asked
Mira nodded, "It appears so." She said, "Jason is capable of containing the darkness, just like Lucy said."
Makarov looked at Warren, "Where is he?" He asked
Warren gave him a grim look, "That's the thing..." He said, "He's currently containing a leak near the capital. He's too far away to get here in time..."
Before they could say anything else, the ground began to shake violently.
"W-What?!" Makarov exclaimed, "What's going on?"
They could all feel the guild hall shake as a massive rain downpour began.
Makarov could not feel anything else but a massive shift in temperature. He knew things were about to turn for the worse.
"It's...." Lisanna said as her breath was able to be seen, "It got colder.."
They all began to shiver a bit as the air got even colder than usual.
Then, the doors opened and several mages ran in.
"Master!!!" They all yelled, "Outside!!"
Makarov and the rest began to run towards the door, making their way outside. As they got outside, under some shelter from the rain, they noticed a massive stream of darkness pouring itself into a single point in the middle of the air above the city.
It was forming a massive blob of darkness, spreading itself larger by the second. It was massive, almost fifty meters in size.
"What the hell..." Makarov said
He then felt his lacrima communications device to vibrate. He grabbed it and answered it.
"Erza!" He said
"Master!" Erza's voice was heard, "Something is happening! Brace yourselves!!"
Suddenly, as in cue, a massive claw bursts forward from the blob of darkness. As it did so, a massive shockwave erupted from the blob.
Makarov watched in awe as the entire city was engulfed in a massive magic power. He knew that whatever this creature was, it was extremely powerful.
The arm was dark and scaly in appearance, it seemed like it was covered in an oily substance. They all watched as another arm was seen, this one being in the opening of the blob, as if it was trying to pry it open. The darkness began to flare up, releasing more magic power by the second.
Without any warning, a massive shriek erupted from the blob of darkness. It was so loud and strong that it was able to shatter the glass in the city. All the mages on the ground were covering their ears as the shriek was heard throughout the entire city.
Makarov then looked up at the blob, noticing two massive glowing red dots past the second arm. He deduced that it was the creature's eyes.
"......So this is the human world...." a loud and distorted voice was heard coming from the blob, "..I can smell it.....the blood of human....."
Upon hearing the voice, everyone got chills in their bones. They knew that nothing good was going to come from this creature.
"..Most importantly....." The voice said, "....the scent of Celestial power.....where is she? The celestial mage...bring her to me....feed me her keys....."
Makarov was able to compose himself, "Lucy?" He managed, "It's after Lucy?"
Then, without warning, the blob of darkness exploded as the arms ripped it open. The explosion caused a massive shockwave that hit the entire city. Makarov and his group braced themselves as the shockwave hit the guildhall, causing it to shake.
They then watched as a massive creature slowly floated down. It was massive, almost fifty meters tall. It was mostly humanoid, and extremely muscular, but it's skin was covered in dark and oily scales, it's arms had large and massive claws. One particular trait was it's massive tail that was covered in blue flames.
The one thing that unsettled Makarov the most was it's face. It didn't have one. In the place of a face was a head with a swirling vortex with two glowing orbs acting as it's eyes.
"....I can feel the magic power...." the creature said, "...powerful mages reside here...."
It then looked down at Makarov, who was still watching in awe.
"What is that thing?" Mirajane said with a hushed tone
"It's...." Levy managed, "It's oozing dark power...."
"You...." the creature said, "You emit powerful light magic...tell me....where is the celestial daughter?"
Makarov frowned, "What are you? And what do you want with our Lucy?" He asked
"I am....the Hound of The Eclipsed God...." the creature said, "I....go by many names....one of them....being The Endless...."
"Endless?" Makarov said, "I've heard of you....."
"Oh? Have you?" Endless said, "Well, you must know......of mine power...."
As in cue, multiple mages had lunged up in the air, consisting of Natsu, Gray, Erza, Gajeel, and even Laxus. They were all charging up their powers as they had launched themselves up in the air, being drenched in the rain.
"Wait no!!" Makarov exclaimed
Endless raised it's arms, "Useless...."
In an instant, all of them were hit with powerful dark explosions that had sent them flying.
"None can resist the power of the True Eclipse." Endless said as he pointed a finger at Makarov, "I take it you're these lowly humans' leader...."
Makarov nodded, "Yes."
"Hand over the Celestial Daughter..." Endless said, "Feed me the keys.....and I will spare your city...and the lives of your comrades...."
Makarov frowned, "I...."
"I will not ask again..." Endless said, "I will rain darkness upon this city....corrode it from underneath...and unleash the souls of the corrupted to hunt your human companions....bring me the celestial mage, now."
Mirajane looked at Makarov, "M-Master, you don't-"
"Quiet." Makarov said, "I'm trying to think."
"What is there to think?" Endless said, "You know you pose no threat to me. I am being nice enough to give you humans a chance....surely, you don't think your light spells will work on I, the Hound of The Eclipsed God?"
"Dammit...." Makarov said
He knew they were at a disadvantage. He had read about Endless, the dark beast. He didn't learn much about its origins but all Makarov knew was that if the tomes he read about it were true, his strongest light spells would not work on it. Endless is a being of pure darkness, sent by The Eclipsed God to carry out its deeds.
"There's nothing we can do..." Makarov said, "To combat it....."
Endless then charged up a massive bright light on it's finger.
"Of course there isn't...." Endless said, "You've made your choice...."
He was about to fire a beam of darkness when Endless felt an odd presence.
"Hey Ugly!!" a voice bellowed
Endless then looked above it, seeing as the dark and stormy clouds were parted in a circle, letting sunlight in.
Makarov and the others also looked at this, in awe.
From the sky, Jason descended with great speed. His body was a bit battered and bloodied, but his face had a determined look.
"J-Jason?!" Mira and Levy both exclaimed
Makarov had his eyes widened, "W-What??" He said, "I thought...."
Endless looked up at Jason, "This feeling...." it said, "You're......"
As Jason reached Endless, he released a massive amount of curse power.
"Curse power?" Endless said
Jason then clapped both of his hands together.
"Cursed Domain: Bloodied Field of The Primordial Battle."
Suddenly, Endless felt its body being sucked into a single spatial point.
"W-what is this?" It said
Jason smirked, "Time to show you what I'm about." He said,
"You Fodder."
