🕑 Added 2023-09-04 11:00:06 +0000 UTC(Jason's POV)
"I was looking for you." I heard a voice say
I opened my eyes to see Meredy looking down at me. I was lying down on the burnt floor of my own causing. I had decided to take a nap and bask in the sun. I have no idea why I would do that, but that is the case.
Meredy looked down at me with her pretty green eyes. She was a beautiful woman, with her nice pink hair and all. But today was not a day to admire someone's beauty. I was in such a bad mood.
I frowned, "What do you want?" I sat as I sat up
She looked around, "Did you do this?" She asked
I shrugged, "What of it?"
I leaned on my arm as I looked off into the distance. I was in no mood for some bullshit. And I certainly hope she doesn't use some emotion-suppressing spell on me. I did not want to deal with that today.
She looked at me, "Ultear told me you were tense." She said, "I didn't think it would be this bad."
I looked at her, "Did Ultear send you?" I asked her, "Tell her I'm not interested in being her man or anything. I am in no mood for whatever it is you're here for."
I stood up and began to walk away.
"Ah!" Meredy said as she ran up to me, "J-Jason, I wanted to talk to you!"
"About what?" I said, "I already said I was in no mood for anything today."
"You see, Ultear told me-" she started
"I thought I told you that I'm not interested in whatever that woman wants to say to me." I cut her off, "And whatever your Master wants, tell him to go fuck himself."
She frowned, "So cold..." She muttered, "But Jason, it's not anything like that. Ultear mentioned that you took Zancrow's magic."
I gave her a glare, "Don't." I hissed, "Don't utter his name."
She took a step back, "S-Sorry." She said, "But hear me out."
She was flustered. I could tell she didn't mean any ill will or anything. She did not intend to anger me by saying his name. I saw that there was a bit of regret in her face. So because I of that, I decided to be a bit lenient.
I crossed my arms, "Fine. As long as you don't say that fucker's name." I said, "No matter what I do or say, you won't stop nagging me. So go ahead and speak. If I walk away or not, that might depend on how important I deem whatever it is you'll say."
She nodded, "O-Okay, I'm sorry if I offended you if any way." She said, "I really am."
"Go on." I said
She looked at me, "Ultear mentioned how you obtained his magic. Making you a God Slayer. So she deduced that you somehow stole it." She said, "That said, she believes that you're capable of stealing God Slayer Magic."
I shook my head, "No."
She looked at me surprised, "No?"
"No, I didn't steal it." I said, "I converted it."
"Converted it?" She asked confused
I raised my arm and summoned black light from my hand.
"I am the Black God Slayer." I said, "My black light is essentially darkness. And while it is the opposite of White, I can devour anything Black. And what color are other God Slayer magic? Black. Hence, I can eat any other God Slayer magic. And I used a powerful spell that allowed me to convert the magic of other God Slayers into my own."
She widened her eyes in surprise, "So that means...."
I nodded, "If that bastard is still alive, he can still use his magic." I said, "The only reason I was able to convert it into my own Flame God Slayer magic was because I was able to devour a certain amount of flames to activate the conversion. That being said, I can wield different God Slayer magic only because I am The Black God Slayer. Also, my insane magic power reserves."
She nodded, "You are a powerful man, Jason." She said amazed, "But while Ultear's deduction was wrong, the next part of her message still applies."
I raised my eyebrow, "What do you mean?"
"Jason." She said, "I know Jellal spoke with you and filled you in with what happened with Grimoire Heart. And you blew him off."
I frowned, "I thought I said-"
"Wait!" She said, "We have a great incentive for you to help us defeat Grimoire Heart!"
"And what's that?" I asked
"There is a God Slayer in the guild!" She said, "Besides......well, him."
I looked at her, "Oh?" I said, "And who is this person?"
She shook her head, "I don't know their name or face." She said, "They recently replaced Kain. Hades recruited them solely for the reason that they were a God Slayer. And I've done my research on any God Slayer in the country. Aside from.....him.....there are two who are members of Legal Guilds. Sherria Blendy and Orga Nanagear."
I nodded, "Okay." I told her, "And?"
She looked at me, "This person is the Earth God Slayer." She said, "Aside from that, I know almost nothing."
I raised an eyebrow and placed a hand on my chin, "Earth God Slayer, huh?" I said, "I wonder how that'll work."
"Well I have a lot of research about that magic!" Meredy said, "But it's not with me. I have it on one of my safehouses."
I looked at her, "Okay."
"If you wish to convert their magic into yours, you need my research." She said, "Also, I would appreciate if you help us defeat Grimoire Heart."
I sighed, "Do I have to go with you?" I said, "To learn about the research?"
She smiled and nodded, "Yes."
"Come with me."
*************************************************
"Okay." I said as I sat at a table
We were in a small cabin in the middle of nowhere. This was different than the shitty run-down one that Jellal and I met in.
"Where are the notes?" I asked Meredy
I looked around and didn't see her anywhere. When I walked in, she had gone to the back. I assumed it was to get the research notes.
I then felt as she sat down next to me.
"What?" I said in surprise
I didn't notice she was there.
Meredy gave me a smile, "So." She said as she pressed against me, "Ultear said you're not only tense....but really good at sex."
I rolled my eyes, "I should've known it was gonna come to this." I said
She wrapped her arms around mine and pressed tightly against me. I could feel her massive and soft breasts as my arm was caught between them. She gave me nothing but a warm and seductive smile.
"You need to relax." She said
"Don't you dare use that spell." I warned
She chuckled, "Relax." She said, "I won't. I wanna make you feel good without it."
I frowned, "I only came here for the notes." I said, "Don't tell me you're gonna hold them hostage for sex?"
She shook her head, "I'm gonna give you the notes, regardless." She said, "I want to make you feel good, that's a bonus."
She leaned in and kissed me on the lips softly. It was a quick, soft, and passionate kiss. For some reason, it made my heart flutter. I've been feeling all these negative emotions and dealing with these crazy thoughts that the moment she kissed me, it all disappeared.
Maybe she was right. I needed to relax. And what better way to do so.
I looked at her.
She gave me a smile, "Your face softened." She said as she leaned in closer to me, "You really need this."
I sighed, "Okay." I said, "I'll humor you."
She chuckled as she began to rub my chest, "No." She said,
"You'll fuck me."
