keeping you safe on our flight
🕑 Added 2025-08-19 01:44:32 +0000 UTCyou've been nervous about getting on planes lately, and i completely understand why. the second the plane takes off, your hands interlock with mine, your grip tightening as we get into the sky. you close the window, trying to distract yourself from the anxiety. i can tell you're very much in your head, so i immediately try to pull you out of it, coaxing you closer, wrapping the blanket we brought around you, resting your head on my shoulder. if you want, you can always try to fall asleep. i'm going to be right here the whole flight. i'm not going anywhere, and i'm not falling asleep. i'm here watching over you to make sure you're safe and everything's alright. i promise, sweetheart, there's nothing to worry about.

one time i asked the man next to me if he would distract me during takeoff, and he turned out to be a private charter pilot. he narrated everything the plane was doing and explained turbulence to me so i wouldnโt be scared ๐ญ i would love a meet cute audio version of that with pilot k
