Updated Claire
🕑 Added 2020-06-15 14:38:52 +0000 UTCHi all! I've been waiting for some supporters to come back to me for their commission rewards. Check your Patreon inbox, folks! Remember that if you don't reply within two months of being contacted, you lose the commission reward! As I waited, I decided to do some edits to Claire among other things.
I've been having trouble with images featuring Claire on Slushe due to her late bloomer-look. So I did some edits to make her look a little older, while trying to keep her playful spirit intact. This includes making her a little taller, giving her slightly fuller forms, a less rounded face, and an updated hairstyle! Hopefully she will be easier to feature in future works now without any hassle. Above are some quick test renders I did. These probably won't be featured anywhere else, so consider this an exclusive look at what we can expect from Claire in the future!
This also means that previous versions of Claire are unavailable for commissions now, this is the only version of her I'll be using in the future.

*Sniff* Our baby looks grown up. Claire looks great, sad for the reason you had to change her. But I look at it as her wanting to change from her young look to slightly more older. Don't we all remember when we were that age and wanted to look older? Now of course I wish I looked more like my younger self.

Thanks! I guess it had to be done if I want to keep using her as I expand, but from what I can see, the changes weren't for the worse!
It sucked being contacted about it, though I guess she always was kind of a gray zone case. Reception to her changes have been warm at least, and I still love her look. I'm also considering subtly canonising her growth by updating her character card and upping her age a year or two to reflect the changes. That would be entirely my own descision though and not something that's actually necessary in any way.

I can assume she was gonna have a growth either mental or physical eventually due to artistic growth. However, being forced due to some contrived reasoning to make others sleep better or we take your platform and money is BS.
