Haremon 0.38 [Chapter 5 part 1]

Hi everyone! It's been a while, but Haremon 0.38 is finally available for download. This build includes the first half (give or take) of the final chapter of the game. It's a sizeable chunk of story including a new Haremon, a new dungeon, lots of new moves and enemies and bosses and everything else you'd expect. See below for a full changelog, and as always, thank you so much for supporting Haremon, especially during these longer development cycles where I don't have much spoiler-free progress to share. It really means the world to me that so many of you stuck with me through these past several months!
Please note that this is a big update with several new mechanics, and despite implementing a lot of playtester feedback already, some of the new content may feel unbalanced, unfair, or a bit buggy. Please join us on Discord if you have any suggestions or problems with the new stuff! And if you want the most bug-free experience, feel free to wait a week or two for some bugs to be found and fixed.
If you've already finished the Hot Springs date, you should have a notification to return to the Gardens to replay the scene there. After that, the new content should begin!
Finally, speaking of spoilers, this build contains some absolutely massive ones! DO NOT POST ANY SPOILER-RELATED CONTENT HERE ON PATREON. It will be deleted. If you want to discuss the new content, join the Discord and use the new #chapter-5 channels!

CHANGELOG [ALPHA 0.38]
Added the first half of Chapter 5. This includes:
- A new dungeon
- A new Haremon!
- 3 new CGs, including 1 H-scene and 2 story-related images
- A major boss fight and a miniboss
- Over 30 new moves
- Several new enemies, events, items, music, etc.
- Major plot developments and story revelations
Other major additions/changes
- Greatly improved memory usage and performance, hopefully ending the memory allocation crashes that many players were experiencing in the last few builds.
- Expanded Ash's base moveset with 3 new moves: Chase Tail, Puppy Dog Eyes, and Shadow Fang.
- Added brand-new, higher quality art for the Chapel, the Hotel, Poppy's bedroom, and Annie's apartment.
- Greatly improved the quality of all the game's music. All music is now in stereo as intended, with a much higher bitrate than before.
Minor additions/changes
- Added Loading and Saving indicators when loading assets or autosaving between scenes.
- Added a limitation to most revival items, called Revival Sickness: Each time one is used, the revived Haremon will have her stats diminished by 10% for the rest of the battle, stacking each time.
- You can now filter the crafting/cooking menu to only show recipes you have the ingredients to prepare.
- Removed the chapter 4 Awakened Haremon's ability to equip unlimited techniques, and removed the ability of her special element's technique to completely bypass Fortitude.
- Reworked many crafting recipes, and added new crafting materials to existing enemies/dungeons.
- Various minor additions, changes, and balance tweaks.

If you're wondering why there are so many issues with this build, it's because I was forced to update to a newer compiler, which is far more strict with code syntax than the one I've been using for the past 5 years. Meaning that there are now many lines of code all throughout the project that will crash the game without warning, when they functioned perfectly fine before. Fun.

Yeah, it appears the new compiler breaks that scene in some way. I'm working on a fix now.

I'm seeing something weird in 0.38.0.6. I just acquired Balrog but after she jumps me in the caves, the game crashes. It's not a normal crash (no error message) but if this is diagenic and it just symbolizes my character dying, I'm not sure what to do. No matter what option I select when Vex propositions me, the same thing happens.
