Oh okay maybe butterfly does fit his image XD If without the gradient the canvas will be a bit too blank, and thanks to PS magic by adding some gradient it looks a lot better :P Though I need to learn how to make the linework more interesting by itself.

Thank you! Speaking of which, I probably don't play DMC series as much as many fans do. (I do play all of them but just not replay much) TBH I'm bad at reflex and to get better at these games requires serious skill. Still, Dante stands such a special charm as a game protagonist that I just can't help and want to draw him all the time. (and Credo too!) Yeah there's been many ups and downs but I believe it's a good sign that my issues are gradually solved during these years. I guess I just need to accept that I'm a very slow learner that needs to be more patient about everything :3

Thanks<3 It seems I will use the pen differently between a tablet and a pen display and I don't know why, change to a tablet just feels more stable. The original design of Dante's wings looks...'meaty', I wasn't able to replicate the feel by linework, so I kinda find a workaround for it haha. Glad it turns out well!

I really like the idea of Dante's wings being like a butterfly. It suits his playful personalityX) I forgot to mention earlier you always have great ideas to make your linework look more interesting, like the sepia gradient on the wings etc.

I've never played or seen much of the Devil May Cry series, but that never stops me from loving all the DanCre art you make. Just they way you portray and draw them together gets me hyped every time. ;A; It makes me very happy to hear you're solving things over there bit by bit. Art can be such a struggle most of the time, but I still love whatever you end up posting. Still hope you find a lot of joy in making it!

That's really good! :3) The wings look so nice! I love how the butterflyish wings on Dante are close to his canon demon wings which I love.

Oh glad to see your comment again <3 It's a big challenge of depicting the feathers while remaining the dynamic of the wings. Yeah I'm doing a lot better this month. No more wrist pain and those endless redrawing. :D
