諸君！我終於看到了雪！很多很多的雪！ 
I just went back from New York to Taiwan yesterday. Spent 30+ hours just on the way back home, most on the flight or waiting for the flight. I'll be back to work again very soon, maybe taking 1~2 days to recover and adjusting to my time zone.
昨天我才從紐約州返台，光是回程就耗掉超過30小時，多半是在等飛機和搭飛機。我會儘快回來畫稿，大概還會再花一到兩天調整時差和作息。
The place my sis lives is near Lake Ontario and those places are freakin' cold! We don't have the budget to stay in hotels so most of the places we visited are state parks around my sis's apartment. And none of them were opening or suitable for visiting. We just quickly got off our car, walked and shivered for 10 mins and fled back into the car. 😂 If there will be a next time we will definitely visit again in any season but winter. 😅
這段旅行其實只是繞著我姊住處附近隨意逛逛，沒啥刻意安排也沒多少預算。多半都在安大略湖附近較小的湖邊州立公園拍照，我姊住的地方算是小鎮邊緣，路上看到的多半是因為冬季閒置中的農場還有一成不變的雪景，也因為在湖邊的關係特別冷也特別容易刮風和降雪，某天還發現社區的子母垃圾車蓋被風吹破一個大洞，這邊冷天一刮起風來的風力基本和台灣的輕颱相去不遠。話說我們去的這段時間剛好特別冷XD結果戶外行程多半是開一小時的車到州公園→下車十分鐘邊發抖邊拍照→逃回車上取暖。
In Taiwan we have Costco but I never visit them, so in the USA I also went into the American style supermarkets for the first time like Walmart and Wegmans and boy they are huge. Basically, everything I saw was huge in the USA compared to my homeland. Including food.
在台灣我從來沒逛過Costco，這次到美國才知道美式賣場有多大，逛了Walmart和Wegmens，個人比較喜歡後者，尤其是它的甜甜圈和潛艇堡。美國畢竟是美國，什麼東西都大，房子大路大食物也大。車子倒反而沒外傳得那麼大，路上我看到一堆TOYOTA，開小車的人也不在少數，反倒是歐洲名車或跑車這邊是一台都沒見到，不知是關稅使然或是米國的暴發戶基本沒興趣把錢砸在車子的品牌上。
American foods are never shy about using meat, sugar and eggs. Sweets like donuts and ice cream are the best! We also tried our homeland famous drink in the USA -- Bubble milk tea, which tastes like, uh, Lipton milk tea.
個人對美國食物的感想大致上是料好實在，但料理手段很青菜。最好吃的大概就是甜點類了，甜圈和冰淇淋特別好吃也相對划算。是說某天我們還去我姊同事推薦過的某間市區小店裡買了珍珠奶茶！24盎斯要價4.25鎂，喝起來像立頓奶茶。
Last month I also went to a doujin con (CWT51). I really want to show you what doujin conventions are like in Taiwan, they are quite different compared to Comic-Con and focus on doujins selling by indie artists. (CWT are more concentrated for female artists & customers. We also have doujin cons for male artists & customers, like Fancy Frontier) But then my old LG G4 which stored those photos died forever. 😭 I'll wait for the next chance to share!
話說上個月參加CWT51，我在擺攤途中偷閒(生意很清淡所以很閒)跑到看台區四處拍照，想說拍好的照片可以分享到P專上來給海外的粉絲看看、台灣的同人誌販售會和米國的COMIC-CON有什麼不同，結果我的LG G4手機竟然在活動回來隔週就掛了，照片都來不及傳上電腦做備份。
Luckily my sis had a spared phone so I can still take pictures during the trip to New York state. Though the best view I saw was on the flight from ROC to JFK. Been through weird weather, big windy snow in the morning but big sun in the afternoon. In Taiwan we don't often see the sun and rain/snow appear at the same time because the clouds are thick and evenly spread, but it seems quite common in a snowy region.
好加在我姊有支在台買的sony手機，因為赴美工作後發現收不到美國的頻率結果派不上用場，所以就給我接收了，還來得及在出國前把手機問題搞定，又話說我行李才整理差不多兩小時而已XD。從羅徹斯特搭國內線飛紐約時在機上看到很漂亮的雲朵，會下雪的雲多半很厚但分佈很不均勻，常有陽光穿透下雪雲層灑落地面的情景，這種光的光束感特別明顯，大概就是傳說中的GOD RAY吧。
During recent weeks I was also been discussing with friends on CWT and thinking about setting my 2019 goals, which will change the way to run my Patreon. I'll make a post talking about it 1-2 days later.
趁這段同人活動與休假期間，我也得以慢一步下來思考今年的計畫，我為自己先訂了兩個今年年底之前要完成的目標，為了這些目標我將調整未來的營運模式，過一兩天會再詳細上來報告。

D'aww ♥ I'm so glad your sister is doing better with this new life. I understand completely about missing home food, I get that way often when I travel as well. You'll have to let me know what you think of DMCV when you play. ♥
Thank you ❤️I like the view in colder regions, the colors, plants, streets look clean and unified. And yeah despite the cold, seeing snow also giving me some sort of peaceful feeling. I'm almost certain that I will have a better focus on work if I can live in an environment like this. (My living space is small, crowded, wet, and hot ) Speaking of trying new food, after less than a week in NY we were desperately missing our homeland meal like hot soup, rice, and noodles! I'm sure I've gained a lot of weight because of American high-calorie food 😂 The biggest gift from this adventure is to see my sis is living in a better life by herself in NY. She spent more than a decade for preparing and passing all the challenges to work abroad and boy those years were such a hard time for both of us. Now I can relieve and focus on myself again, and also play some DMCV 😁
Thank you! Those places near lakes are freezing in winter! We originally wanted to see Niagara Falls and good thing that we canceled it. We won't stand the cold outside our car for more than 20 mins haha. What happened to my phone is kind of a known issue of LG G4 that I need to replace its mobo, which will wipe all the data so those photos are not retrievable :( Still, I go to CWT every Feb and August so I can still take photos again!

What an adventure! The photos you took are lovely. I recently got to see snow as well for the first time and it's kind of an ethereal feeling. Especially when you see it falling. Trying new food in places you have never been before is always one of the best things. One of the reasons I love the idea of traveling is seeing other cultures and trying the different foods I've never seen before. But welcome back from your adventure! Glad that you got to see and try so many new things. ❤ You were missed.

I'm glad you had a great vacation despite all the snow:O It's upstate New York so I'm not surprised by the amount of snow you saw (I used to study in Buffalo, which is near the area you were in). Gah I'm sorry about your phone cos I would love to see those photos of the doujin con. Hopefully you can retrieve the data from it.

It's like any random photos I took in the town are suitable to print as a postcard 😆 Glad my sis is living in a beautiful and peaceful place. Yeah taking a trip does make me stop from anxiety and think differently. I'm not sure if it's normal to have snow in NY during March though, but it just getting warmer right after I left. God just wants us to see snow I guess 😆 I'm guessing most of ppl might have some impression of doujin con in Japan from the internet. In Taiwan it's similar but smaller, by smaller I mean there are still 1500+ artists selling in CWT during Feb and August. I hope there will be more ppl outside Taiwan seeing our doujin con :)

Thank you! The most exciting thing might be sitting on my sis's car and trying to figure out google GPS 😆 Good thing we never got lost or being overly ambitious to go to places taking more than 2 hours driving.

Very glad you enjoyed your vacation, I recently came back from mine and boy does it recharge your art battery :D It's amazing snow's still around, in Poland I am having solid two weeks of spring already, it's so weird??? Yeah I enjoyed this trip a lot! Everything is so different in a place 7500+ miles away from home haha! Based on the weather report it seems the period I visit the town (near Rochester) was especially cold, about 10°F, but it got warmer and stopped snowing right after I left. 😂 It's unbelievable that I still saw ppl walking their dogs on the lake shore, while we couldn't even figure out how to walk through thick snow to the footpath!
