Looks like transition is the name of the game this year, I have been creating adult content for the last year and stumbled on this idea of personal boudoir sessions as it is essentially what I have been doing for the last year. I am coming in as a novice to actual professional side of photography but I am so inspired by your work Misty and am excited to see where this all manifests!

Last year was mainly a prep year/transition year for me. I am going from family/wedding/senior photographer to strictly boudoir so I had to do a lot of prep for that (in home studio set up, website design, portfolio building). So this year, I’m working on actually getting paying clients and all aspects that surround that! It’s also a goal to find balance. I currently have a full time job and work on all photography stuff on the side and it’s a fine line I walk to not get burnt out. I want to feel like I’m really working hard on my business, but not put myself at risk of burning out and giving up. So the goal this year is build clientele, create an amazing experience, all while keeping my mental health intact 💛
