For a while now, I just wanted a pose with a couple snuggled up under a blanket but I didn’t know how to do that and all the blankets that I could find didn’t really work. Yesterday, I learnt how to make blankets in blender and at the request of my good friends simoviacourt and threethousandplumbobs I’m uploading the pose and then blanket!
Before I go into the info and download, I wanna give a quick thank you to okruee for your post calling out the lack of diverse poses for plus-size sims. While I don’t release poses very much anymore, I do appreciate you taking the time to make that post because, had I not seen it, I probably wouldn’t have even thought twice about it. So thank you for speaking up!
The download includes the following:
- - A Pose Pack containing four (4) poses
- One (1) set with default EA rigs
- One (1) set with plus-size rigs
- That colonial bed from C&D that I made BGC for the homies who don’t have C&D, cause fuck EA
- Two (2) custom blankets for the poses (one for the default EA rigs and one for the plus-size rigs) both with 60 swatches
More info:
- This thing is roughly 8700 polygons. I tried to decimate it and when I did, it was screwing up my textures and I couldn’t figure it out because I am ✨stupid✨ but either way it’s not for gameplay, it’s for poses
- I couldn’t figure out how to do nice shadows on the texture because, once again, I am ✨stupid✨so you’re gonna have to live without.
Both sets of poses and blankets have been play tested and seem to work with no issues but if something is wonky with it or not working as it should, please let me know and I’m happy to figure it out and fix the issue :)
