I love how you blatantly reject the crazy idea on letting three teenagers go to Hueco Mundo lol. When I was first time watched this as a middle schooler, I really getting hyped for this but now I rewatching it again with you, it doesn't much sense irl situation and seems too raw. That is why it is a shonen series I guess.

Kisuke wasn't wrong for leaving Orihime out of the fight. He had already said her Shun Shun Rika rejection has it's limitations and unlike squad 4 she isn't trained in combat along with healing. I also don't think Kisuke was aware Orihime had already used her power in front of Ulquiorra so I think what he meant by "I was too late" was he had told her to stay out of the battle too late.
