So Ashley was very much a Christian, it coloured his whole world and all his moral values, including the slightly bizarre Millenial Apocolyse stuff. I am not. Like, at all. But one of the joys of these things is we could have agreed on so much despite our hugley different start points - he advocated for the freeing of slaves all over the world, he beleived in education, animal welfare, catholic emancipation, housing reform, and helping the poor, and erradicating child labour all of which was radical in its time (and quite cutting edge now). His Evangelical Christianity, which informed those decisions, no, his Zionism, no, his beleif in Bible School, no, etc. That's OK, I admire him anyway.

Very, very good. I expect nothing less. It did feel a little ‘Them Dresdenites had it coming!’ But it clearly seems that they bloody did. One of my fave words “defenestration”. Our HR department also like it as well, as they’ve asked me to come down and talk to them about how I use it a lot. A wee question. Your avatar is that of a very committed Zionist. While I am truly appreciative of the opportunity to watch an LHT presentation before the masses, perhaps a warning announcement might be in order. As an American, things generally have been a little higher stress than usual and waking to the message "countdown to annihilation" can therefore easily be taken out of your Lordship's original intent. Hoping we may continue our "special relationship"
