What am I working on?
🕑 Added 2023-01-04 07:08:16 +0000 UTCI'm still working on the partial stripping, it's a little more work than I expected, but I should get it done in the next few days. Afterwards I'll go straight back to developing the romance framework. (also a few SL conversions in between, you know the drill)
I've already explained to you how the stat tracking of the romance framework is going to work. For the actual interactions with NPCs Ace and I came up with some ideas. I don't want to spoiler too much because it's still in the early design stages, but I can tell this much:
We want to drop the UI system of ORomance and instead use the OSA navigation menu in it's place. Ace is already diligently working on animations for it. That means you'll have navigation options like make compliment, attempt hug, attempt kiss, etc. and the NPCs reactions to it will be animated. For the attempt hug for example you'll either see the NPC hugging you back or making a rejecting pose, depending on the outcome.
This this means that we more or less cannot reuse anything of ORomance functionality we will most likely build the new interaction system up from scratch, so technically it and ORomance can exist side by side with no problems. I'll still look into making OProstitution a standalone mod, because I don't like having to install a mod that you don't use at all just because another mod uses one of it's features.
