Year In Review

She and I had not worked together before, but I had seen some photos of her with my friend Vivian. It turns out she's a professional dancer in San Jose, California during the mid-winter months and spends most f the summer in Montana where she was raised. She told me she was heading through Idaho Falls and could spare a couple of hours if I wanted to meet up and go out shooting. I honestly haven't shot around IF too much but heard from another photographer I know that the lava beds west of town were fun. I got my Google Earth out and started looking for roads into the lava beds. I found a road that wound around the edge of the beds and thought it looked promising. So off I went. I met Her Stillness Dances (model name) at Walmart since it is easily found and next to the road we were headed out on. We loaded up and out we went. You can tell by the images, we had a great shoot. HSD was a very beautiful woman, and we agreed that we shouldn't wait another year to shoot again. I have to say though the lava beds road I selected was a little crowded, but we were able to hide out from prying eyes.
Merrique and I also shot in August taking back up where we left off. As I've told you guys, we shoot once a month and never grow tired of one another. At least I don't grow tired of her. We had gotten in a rut so to speak and just shot in her bedroom around the bed and window. These are all remote shoots, so we're working usually in bad light and having to make the best of it. You just don't get bad shots of Merrique though.
This finishes up August. August and September were a little lean on models. I did a lot of landscape work because of the fall colors in September, but still found time for a few models. Stay tuned. Thank you all for your continued support and welcome to our new subscribers.
