No need to apologise for having a genuine emotional reaction! Great choice to do 2 episodes at a time, if you think it's good now just wait! I think Walt and Gretchen are meant to have had a bit of a thing when they worked together, before her and Elliott got together, so she thinks that's making things weird and why he's refusing their job offer and the offer for them to pay for his treatment.
