This show is very heart-warming like a cup of hot cocoa on a winter day kind of nice. The characters are very relatable and I root for everyone, I want everyone to be happy in the end. Hoping for season 2!

Multiple times when reading the manga, I ended the weekly chapter with a feeling like: I want to find this author, give him/her a hug, and say "thank you!". And ngl, a lot of these times were chapters about parents. This show have one of the highest concentration of green flag characters I've ever seen.

It's important to tell your parents how you feel, you don't know how long you're going to have them in your life. I lost my dad over 40 years ago and lost my mom almost 30 years ago. I still miss them, and I feel it whenever I see good parents and their kids in anime, so I got a bit misty-eyed when you both did.
