While I personally did not get into this show as immediately as people claimed it to be. I will say I do quite enjoy it. My favorite moment that gives insight into Waguri's perspective (since we obviously get Rintaro's very clearly) is after he scares off the bullies... he keeps apologizing. And after the 2nd time she denies that he is to blame he still apologizes again and she responds with "I just don't get it". On the surface, it seems like it's leading into her next statement of "Your such a kind person" but I actually think it's her just expressing her confusion on why he would keep apologizing for what is, from her perspective, not his fault at all. (Cuz it frankly isn't his fault)

I've been waiting for this too. Wasn't happy about Netflix Jail time, but on the other hand, now with the summer titles wrapped there is still a saccharin fix. I had glanced at the manga, meant to get back to it so i guess now I'll read along. Got the feel of Horimiya colliding with Romeo and Juliet. This should be good drama.

Its not nonsense for me, in my neighborhood there are two schools literally next to each other, there’s a chain link fence that separates them but that doesn’t stop kids from climbing over.

I'd recommend skipping the opening until after you watch episode 7. There's a minor spoiler in there, nothing huge, but nice to be surprised about when watching the show.
