I dont personally consider this one a harem anime as I believe that MC has to date/sleep with all the options or none of the options (eternal fanservice friends) for it to qualify as such. I personally put this in the romance/romcom/drama side of things and its a really good one! The tears of those still salty about the ending are delicious lol And like some others have said, please dont feel rushed to choose a "best girl" or "who you want to win". By all means give it a few episodes to get a feel for each girl first. Personally, I didnt choose my favorite until like half-way through season 2, as all the girls up to that point are fantastic.

Let them get some episodes under their belt before they go making their calls. After-all, they basically haven't even met 3 of them yet. Like yes they literally saw them and got introduced to them. But 3 of the 5 haven't even REALLY gotten any spotlight yet

IMO the best written harem. Edging out The World God Only Knows due to the fact that TWGOK got cancelled before it got to the manga ending. I see others have mentioned the hair color thing so you won't think character are idiots when they can't tell them apart. Remember during Alya, Prez said he wanted to see sisters compete? Here you go. Go on, place your bet. You have a 20% chance of being right. Frankly, I got it wrong.

Their names refer to the numbers 1 to 5: Ichika (Ichi = one) Nino (Ni = two) Miku (Mi = three) Yotsuba (Yon = four) Itsuki (Itsu = five) Japanese have lots of different ways to count, their names are just a play with one of them and making their entire name mean something besides the number. Also, Prez said Yotsuba remembers him of Yui, from Oregairu. That was a close one, her VA is the same as Iroha's 😂

Just in case no one has mentioned it but the hair colors are different for anime purposes and in reality they all have the same hair color which makes it hard for ppl to tell them apart
