With Maomao safe... the only thing left is the fate of Shisui and Suirei... Personally I think/hope with testimony from particular individuals Shisui will probably lose her position as Pure Concubine but live - mostly because she ultimately made their attack easier and has been a puppet. Also, Maomao giving her Jinshi's hairpin I think will be the thing that saves her life, specifically. Jinshi, at the very least, will demand the reason she has it (knowing that it is Maomao's). If he finds out it was given to her willingly... I think it will send Jinshi the signal that she isn't the villain her family has made her out to be - regardless of her crimes. Suirei... I think realistically is fated to die here... The only thing's going for her are that she has also been an abused puppet... and she has imperial blood. Despite those facts, I think she will be executed since she is the direct culprit for much of the crimes of the Rear Palace.
