Cara was mostly right; the reason we see the ball hit the court through Kita's eyes is to show how if he was on the court he could have received the ball (he's always covering for the twin's more reckless moves)

One thing they mention in the manga but don't really talk about in the anime, is that Asahi is considered to have gorgeous mid-air spiking form, rivaled only by Ushiwaka. Also, Tsukki trusting Hinata to receive is probably a top 10 Haikyuu moment for me. And Hinata acknowledging Tsukki's blocking skills on a block where Tsukki didn't even touch the ball shows such insane growth on his part.
