Pretty much everyone described Ryuen from the light novel pretty well. I will add that it was so funny seeing Ryuen baffled that it was actually ayanokoji. He literally refused to believe it for a while until he saw him fighting. One more thing I want to add is that this is the first time we see ayanokoji misinterpret something. In the light novel when Kei was getting tortured, she made a decision to stop being a parasite and still decided to not tell him Ayanokoji’s identity. But Ayanokoji didn’t realize it at all. He thought she was still a parasite and thought this would make her even more dependent on him. Which is why he waited until the last minute to arrive to have Kei at her breaking point.

Yeah ryuen is a great character he is much smarter then people give him credit for. for example he solved the zodiac exam by figureing out the section prossce for the mole

IMO Ryuen isnt all talk. Its just Koji is that good, Ryuen tactics/ideal has been working, just Koji folds him behind the scene.

This episode - how fucking strong is he? Next episode - what kind of a monster is he? So good! Kei coming through and Ruyen finally lost. Felt like 2 seasons leading to this moment gave it a perfect payoff. Great writing!

If you observe when Ayanokouji was beating Ryuen’s face multiple times on top of him, he wasn’t using his full strength until he saw Ryuen’s fear appears and gave the actual hard punch and knock Ryuen out.

While Ryuen did get a lot of hits in, it was all because Ayanokoji allowed it in order to identify Ryuen's character and skill, and to "experience" the fear caused by pain that Ryuen was talking about

Things that can't be shown on the anime format regarding one of the reasons why Kiyotaka is easily capable to defeat them is not that he is extremely stronger than Ryuen's group (especially Albert which the novel argue him to be strongest in physical power--well maybe except Koenji and Kiyotaka himself) is that Kiyotaka is very well-trained in fighting to the point he masters and combined different fighting technique and capable to analyze his opponent fighting techniques so he can do the best counter to them. This is also other aspects on why Ryuen can survive longer because he has no fighting skills, only a raw technique from his countless street fighting.
