When I was in Osaka, I went out of my hotel at around 1:00 AM and it was so quiet and empty. I just walked around for a while and then went into a Konbini (Japanese term for convenience store) to buy a bento and some snacks. Honestly, I’ve stayed up past 1 or 2 so many times in my life so far, but I don’t think anything was as good as that 30 minute walk in silence. God I want to go back to Japan!!!!

I need to finish the manga (ended within the year i think?) Its a lot of fun. The author has another show Dagashi Kashi. That one is interesting too, in a different way.

Been to tokyo before it is just like this anime depicts at night Empty, quiet,clean and beautifully lit. during my stay I used to love going out at night to the convenience stores. Also the alcohol vending don't check for I.D it's on a honor system.

Yes this show was named after the outro that is one of Creepy Nuts' song, "Yo-fu-ka-shi No U-ta" which is also the title of this show in Japanese, meaning "The song about staying up late at night" It's a very rare case to have a song written before not just the anime but also the original manga.
