The hot spring district they are currently in reminds me a lot of a Japanese city I stayed in two summers ago for a study abroad. The city is called Beppu and is famous for being the hot spring capital of Japan. Got to eat hot spring cooking which was really cool.

Nah that's a big arc, 2 more episodes wouldn't be able to cover it... It's like 20 chapters in the manga.

They should've just done 13 or 14 episodes and finished off the arc.

I hate this kind of cliffhanger. Yeah, season 2 is coming in july, but I'd very much prefer if they just released it as one season in july. Or even if they marketed it as season 1 part 1 with part 2 coming soon after from the beginning that would be better. Splitting the seasons so abruptly like this just makes me like the show so much less.

They should do like JJK s2. Cut before this arc. Ep 11 was a good place to cut. But we all know it's a 24 ep season cut in two parts, even if this is presented as "2 seasons".. they just cut here to sell mangas. It's the goal of an adaptation after all... so....

The anime is a marketing product to sell the manga so they did a great job on this point. They are smart to do a 12 épisode "season 1" and release the "season 2" on july 2025... While we all know this is a 24 épisodes season 1.

Oh yeah for sure we don’t mind waiting for better quality, I think we were just expecting a different cliffhanger lol or maybe some different music to end it😂

So far we have covered 4 volumes and the manga is on volume 17 and still ongoing. So we can expect a lot of seasons lol.

Having read it, not really any place better to end it. They could have maybe cut the OP/ED from this episode and extend it a little, but it still would have been a cliffhanger/awkward place to end. At the beginning of the season my prediction was that it would end on the train ride to Jijis house, but they got a lot farther than I had imagined. Not really mad about it because this adaptation is about as perfect as it gets. I'd rather have to wait 6 months and get 12 more quality episodes than to have had this been 24 episodes that they had to rush out the door.
