I really respect Ichikawa’s decision not to act without Yamada’s consent. Imagine having someone who you know likes you—a person who also happens to be the most popular in school. You know that even if you kissed them abruptly, you’d probably get away with it. Yet, he chose to be a gentleman and do things the right way. If you have any kiss expectations for this series, you won’t be let down, although I won’t spoil it if it is in this season or future chapters. Yamada was basically seducing him to kiss her already, but Ichikawa was a true gentleman like I said he was. What a series.

Really enjoyed this reaction and glad you have started to love the show. I think the "best episode yet" phenomenon isn't because the show gets funnier, or the music is more sentimental, or the dramatic scenes have better blocking. Those are consistently good but it "gets better" because the show takes its time to slowly increase the emotional impact of each confession. I don't think I've seen another show do it quite so well for so many episodes.

small detail, don't even know if she did it intentionally or not... but she was about to use the Men's shampoo, meaning she'd smell like Ichikawa, we can still assume it's an intentional detail anyway.

The funniest thing is that Adachi's mother was probably the one who wrote the letter without his approval. He doesn’t seem the type to use cheesy language haha.

5:43 the boys were just getting Ichikawa's Line in case they end up in different classes after the change, so they won't lose contact. Wholesome to see even the boys asking for his contact now.

Adachi was trying to say that Sekine's kindness of HAND-making chocolates for ALL the boys when she didn’t have to, was why he called her nice, which surprised her that he was the only one who recognised her efforts. I don’t think "Yeah, but!" is the best translation choice given how it doesn’t really convey Adachi's intention enough for Sekine to warrant the reaction she had. Also, we’ve seen Adachi's handwriting in S1, that letter was probably written by his mother XD

Subtle detail, but it seems that Yamada got inspired by Adachi's mother's style, judging by the outfit she wore later in the episode (similar earrings and choker)
