It would just be easier to treat Kuze as an unreliable narrator when it comes to his Russian childhood friend, when he had that dream he said he didn’t even remember their name anymore, it’s likely he doesn’t remember what they look like as well and the dream scene just showed a traditional anime stereotype for westerners,blond hair blue eyes

I think you guys are right about Masha, earlier in the episode she even said to Alya “finally a boy who can move your heart has appeared” so I think now she doesn’t want to take that away from her, being also the older sister, who is supposed to look after the younger one.
